Harvest Direct Seitan Quick Mix

I was skeptical about this stuff. We've been almost totally vegetarian for about three weeks now and I'm still going in to this kicking and screaming. I was planning on calling this 'Satan Meat' but actually enjoyed this stuff. We have four kids who range between 10 and 3. All of them finished their 'meat' and had seconds. I ate seconds too! What can I say, this stuff tastes good.

Its a good product but 3 times more expensive than the website where I buy it now.

The Seitan didn't absorb the flavors as much as I wanted, but it had a perfect "meat" like texture for my chili. My guests enjoyed it too.

After cooking it the consistency was very good but it was tasteless. I recommend adding spices and salt to the dough before cooking it. Also I would make half a pack at a time because after it's cooked it gets much bigger and you get a lot of seitan, which is only good for 1 week

Somewhat bland and rubbery, not at all like commercial seitan. Package is quite small.

Long lasting just used the last of it last year and I bought it in 2013 lolBest to marinate for a few days to absorb the flavor, but def has texture and density, not a bad sub for meat! Season to you taste!

Not really happy with the texture..... But love getting the protein...

It is easy to make patties that can be flavored and fried. In and of itself it has little flavour. I used it like polenta. The merchant performed as they should. Delivered as promised which is all I ask of Amazon.
