Balletboard - A Turning Board for Dancers - Premium Training Tool for improving Dance Turns

I'm intrigued. It definitely spins. So far I haven't been able to achieve stability. But then I attended a special class on pirouettes, and - guess what - my teacher passed out one of these to each student. She is starting slowly, with specific exercises to build up to a full turn. Now that I'm practicing the first exercises, I can see that it does a great job of letting me know when my alignment is off. I expect this process to take a long time, but I can see that the board will help. Wish instructions and exercises were included with the product, or a DVD for this price. I'm an adult woman with many years of ballet training, but have been hung up with my pirouettes. Hoping this will get me past my "Fear Factor."

I purchased this turning board as a gift for my niece who just started dance. It’s a very simple device that makes turning very easy for her. She can be en point or flat footed and the board still turns fine. Its sturdy and strong and serves its purpose. It also comes with its own little pouch/carrying case. I’m not sure how useful the carrying bag is considering the boards basically a piece of strong plastic. It seems it would fit nicely in a dance bag without any extra case, but maybe you could use it to clean it or something. Its funny how something so simple can inspire them to practice and work on their turns. Great value at 25 dollars given the use it gets…and the packaging is a nice presentation too making this an excellent gift for an aspiring dancer.

My daughter got this to help her with her turns in dance. It is very portable, lightweight, and the carrying case keeps it from getting scratched from other items in her dance bag.

This is an amazing product. I bought it to improve my daughters turns and posture and it has done so tremendously. Highly recommended by her teachers and most of all she loves it. She is able to do both releve and passe. We've tried it successfully on low carpet, tile, and wood.

Love the turnboard! No ballerinas in my house, I just got it for my kids to use for the vestibular input at home. I have a child with sensory issues, but all my kids love practicing how many times they can spin on this. I keep it in the kitchen and it gets used daily!

I accidentally ordered the wrong thing, but if you or your child needs a ballet board you should order this one. I wish I used a board like this when I first started dancing. It doesn't have to be just for ballet. It's a very useful tool for many types of dance.

it works very well i like it a lot and would recommend it to my fellow struggling spinners. caution it is very spinney go slow at first. you are not going to look like the videos. it not magical you still have to work very hard for very spin.
