I have to give this sub a WOW, my Audio Pro B2-40 Sub finally gave up after 30 years of good service, so i though it would be a good idea to replace it instead of repairing it. I went surfing the web to see what was available in the mid price range. Most of the reviews led me to order the SW-110. Well I'm glad I did, because you just can't beat new technology, it blew away the old Audio Pro. I just added a second SW-110 to my home theatre system now things are really cooking.

Awesome power and clarity
If you want a sub for home theatre movies then this is for you. Awesome power and clarity. Now if you want a sub for listening to music then look elsewhere it's not musical and maybe overkill I couldn't get the dial past two. That said it's a quality sub and very loud if needed.

... home theater world and trying to put together a good quality system that fits my quality budget
So I am new to the home theater world and trying to put together a good quality system that fits my quality budget. I really like polk audio since I started with a polk center and two s55 towers. Together they have great sound really good quality music, however I wanted something with a little more kick when it came to movies or music. I was looking around and wanted to stay with polk all around but after reading some reviews of their subs I really took a step back and decided to look around in other places since their subs have a tendency to not work after a short period of time based off of reviews. Thats when I found this beast. I've had it for a little over a week now and last night my roommates and I threw a party at our place and at the lowest volume this sub just pounded the floors. I am amazed at the quality and power of this sub, it is a bit big but from what I've been told bigger is better when it comes to a sub. Would recommend this sub to anyone, I will update if anything changes, but for now my review stands on a job well done! Good job Klipsch!!!

Great subwoofer for the price!
I checked out several subwoofers and found the SW-110 and SW-112 had the best price to performance ratio. I struggled with which one to purchase and found this one received the best reviews and found complaints that the SW-112 tending to be too much and tended to overpower your other speakers. So I went with the SW-110 and I could not be happier. I have a large 18'x20' room and with the subwoofer at half volume it blends nicely and has plenty of power to spare. Other reviews make it sound like it can rattle your windows; I don't think it is that strong but like most subwoofers you can feel the deep base. I was not really looking for something that would blow eardrums and break windows, so if that is what you are looking for you might go with the SW-112 or SW-115. I prefer something that sounds good and blends well, and this speaker definitely met my expectations.

My first subwoofer - the media room is complete!
Well, I can't believe I finally have my first subwoofer. I guess after several pairs of tower speakers that seemed so good for music I just never felt one was needed or had room for it. Now with a 7.1 in-wall speaker system I knew I needed something for my home theater and the SW-110 is doing a great job. In an unusual configuration I have it in the back of the room, behind the seating with a few feet of space - however I still have it connected to the "front sub" RCA jack. Had to buy and install a 35 foot RCA cable (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0038T54TW) to drive it, and have it connected to a Panamax line conditioner. I like that the sub fires forward, not down. It is deeper than I expected, but very solid and well built. Movies have been awesome, the wife and kids have jumped out of their seats during scary scenes as the deep bass rattles their bones!

Pricey, but very good sound. I'm impressed.
Long story short.Great sub that far exceeded my expectations. Now for some details.I've got a pretty spacious basement entertainment room 20x20 and 8' ceiling. I did not expect this to fill the room with bass as well as it does.I'm not an audiophile by any means, but I do enjoy things that sound good.. and am always in for the best bang for my buck.I'm also not a bass-eccentric person, I prefer flatness/balance.. and to me.. a sub is there to pick up the lower end.I can't complain about a thing.. other than the price. :) ..but it is worth it, so there's that.** Just as a note **The rest of my system is the Yamaha 575 receiver, Klipsch F-30's, C-20, and some in ceiling surrounds. Pretty great setup for the $$.

Amazingly deep, precise, and powerful. Best performance at this price point.
I'm shocked this sub isn't more popular. Compared to my brother's Polk subwoofer this thing is a complete monster. Its exceptionally deep and powerful at both very low and very high volumes. It's extremely precise and accurate for all kinds of music (I have a fairly strange taste that includes both a lot of rock and a lot of electronic music with VERY heavy bass). I'm pairing it with a pair of B&W 685s and a Yamaha receiver and the sound I get is amazing for the price. I auditioned this sub against a few much more expensive subwoofers from Polk, B&W, Snell, McIntosh, Velodyne, BIC America, and a few other brands and this one performs far out of its price range. The driver has a very interesting design which appears to do wonders for deeper and more powerful sound. Just an amazing subwoofer.
