I loved the sound and decided I wanted to get one ...
I stayed at the Conrad Hotel in Miami and they had these speakers in the rooms. I loved the sound and decided I wanted to get one for myself. The speaker looks really nice and the sound quality is superb, but the bluetooth sucks. If the bluetooth drops, the whole thing freezes up, you have the option of unplugging to reboot it - but you have to reset the time - or just letting it sit and it will reset in a few hours. I tried the reset button combination found on Geneva's website but it does not work once the system freezes. NOTE, this is my second Geneva product that has had a problem. The first one was the little wireless travel speaker. The batter died on that one and it would not recharge. Makes me concerned about overall product quality, even if the sound is superb. If it didn't sound so damn good when it is working, I would have given it one star.

Freeze Ups
This is my second Geneva Model S - the first was the original iPod docking model. It works great - still - so great in fact that I wanted to upgrade to the new Wireless model. As much as I love the Geneva Sound system, this unit encountered the same problem that i read about in a few other reviews. It freezes up and neither the remote or the direct input buttons on top will do anything. The only way to move forward is to reset the unit by unplugging it. Of course, at that point you have to completely reprogram the unit (clock and all the presets). This has happened to me a couple of times during the month that I've owned it and I kept hoping it would just go away, but unfortunately it just did it again. Accordingly, it's being returned. I did read about the issue in some of the Amazon product reviews on the Wireless model prior to purchasing, but I assumed that it was a fluke. Maybe not so much. As I love the look and sound of the Geneva Sound systems, I'll likely wait a while and order another Model S; hopefully the bugs will be worked out by then.

Found several problems with my unit
I have problems with my system, while streaming music using the Bluetooth mode if I turn off the source device and try to turn off the speakers the system will freeze and will not react to another command from the remote or the same buttons in the music system until the unit is unplugged and plugged again to the power line. Now I discovered a new failure mode, I was hearing a FM station for a couple of hours and when touching the system to turn it off the system just didn’t react (freezes) until I unplug and plug back the power, additional to this when I turned it on again, while trying to adjust the time the touch buttons just start working wired, while adjusting the time the system switched to the FM mode and start tuning the stations without moving my finger from time set, at the beginning I thought I was doing something wrong and fooling the system by misplacing where I place my finger but repeated the sequence being very careful and confirm that the system is consistently failing this way, also when this happens the volume button in the system fails, if you keep touching this button waiting for the device to continuously increase / decrease volume will only increase 2 steps, beeps and will stop adjusting the volume until you touch again… disgusting since volume range is from 0 to 100.Of course the device will work again if you do the unplug, wait some time and plug it again… Very sad issue for a "premium" radio / speakers.I own several Bose speakers and found that this speaker has a better mid-range sound (very realistic) and was very happy with my discovery until I found all these problems in my unit.

Superb HiFi system for any phones, PC, Mac...
Superb speakers- No doubt!Setting up is quite easy, however, setting up for the time (in US version) is a bit confusing. You have to look for the dot after C, to set it as AM or PM. Wish Geneva Sound system will come up with a simpler clock setting process.Another issue noted while muting the sound was the system got stuck and I was unable to switch off the mute nor switch off the system. Had to pull out the plug and had to reset the system all over again!I like the piano lacquered colour and the design. The sound and radio reception is superb - unbelievable for a such a small speaker!

Bluetooth connectivity is a problem
The sound is quite good for a small stereo, but I have had a really difficult time getting it to connect via bluetooth. It'll sometimes connect to my phone, but not at all to my ipad. I've been listening to the radio on it, but that's about all I can use it for. Kind of an expensive radio. Also I appreciate the sleek design but I find the light up controls on the top hard to see and harder to understand so I end up using the remote instead.

Sounds good but system freezes often!
The look and sound of this system is fantastic. Sadly, I also had the same problems with it stalling. After using it with either bluetooth or even the line input, attempts to turn the system off (either by remote or manually) makes it freeze, and you have to disconnect the power. The clock will thus have to be reset. I can live with that, but it's super annoying to turn off the system by unplugging it almost each time I use it. Quite a serious design flaw, which is a shame because it does sound really good for a wireless tabletop player.

Music production at its best from a single box
Fantastic sound (as in stereo imaging from various sitting positions, zero background noise, natural voice reproduction) from blue tooth streaming. The bass can be on the heavy side, but be attenuated using the controls. Still quite capable of producing tight and punchy bass without mudding. Would recommend the stand as well.
