Egg topper cutter, stainless steel egg opener for raw, soft or hard boiled eggshell

Three little thumps and the egg is cracked in a neat circle. I lift off the shell and dig into my soft boiled egg, getting out every bit of white adhering to the shell. I wish I had heard about the egg topper years ago. But I'm sure I was getting a lot of nutrition from all the shell I was eating.

Fun little gadget not the most practical. I got it because I have free range chickens and the eggs are very thick but in reality by the time you find this take it out use it for your morning breakfast you might as well just used the edge of the counter.

It takes a smidge of practice (like two eggs) to learn how far up to pull the hammer mechanism; then I got the hang of it. We recently started eating soft boiled eggs and needed an easier way to remove the top that didn’t result in tiny eggshell pieces everywhere. Works great!

you might have to do this a few times tried for both hard eggs and just to open them. not bad.
