Not as informative as it claims

There is a disclaimer on the back of the book for a reason. This book is laughable to say the least and prays of the vulnerability of those interested in membership. Membership requirements and my Sorority's history is on the National website. Devote your time and energy to defering to the website. Please and thank you

Elucidated a lot of my interest about this organization. I now know detailed info about the founders, traditions and customs that no one would have explained to me. very informative little book to own about Delta Sigma Theta.

I know Deltas will hate on this book so I won't tell anyone I got it. My review is quiet differnt than the other because on my yard it is virtually impossible to approach any one about Delta Sigma Theta. I don't know why that is so I took a chance and bought this book and I am pleased very pleased. There is basic info in this book but Wiki does not include info on what the requirements are such as this book and the difficulty of getting in and how to carry yourself. Better info than their national website too.,I researched and the book itself is collectible as well which all made this book worth buying. Again, I am sure Delta members will Hate on this so keep this book on the low but I say 5 stars for this little delta book.

I like this secret little things Everything to know about delta book better because it is more along the lines of stuff I have to learn. It goes into the founders and their background, traditions, and info on what all the greek language and jargan Delta Sigma Theta and other NPHC orgs speak. I highly recommend this book if you are interested in learning more about Delta Sigma Theta with the understanding of wanting to participate. It is a little book by highly effective. 5 stars.

A family member purchased this book and made the sad mistake of leaving it out. I was beyond shocked to say the least. The information about the Founders was true solely because that information can be found publicly. However, the remaining information was false, delusional, illusive, and just weird. Most of these "secrets" were incorrect. If you are interested in learning more information about my Sorority that bad and you are just that thirsty do not waste your money on this book. Instead read In Search of Sisterhood. Attempting to learn "secrets" WILL NOT get you closer to Delta. Your merit, achievements, scholarship, and service will. It's uncanny to me that so many young women think books such as this will be your "Crimson Ticket" into DeltaLand. The women of Delta value our Sorority to a high esteem so do you really think that we would allow this little book to divulge our rich 100 years of history ? Think about people. Don't be so naive.

This book is errr.Do thorough research before joining any such organization. Be sure that you research why you shouldn't just as much as you research why you think you should. Also research the God Minerva that is payed homage to through the organization written about in this book. She is credited as the God of Wisdom.[...][...][...]Psalm 111:10 - "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever."James 5:12, "above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by earth, neither by any oath..."I really hope this touches you especially if you are a christian. You can be committed to community, service, and scholarship through Christ. You do not need the network... God will place the right people in your life to take you to the next level - if those are your reasons, then you don't truly recognize God as supreme. It took me a while to come to this realization as I REALLY was pursuing the org in undergrad... but I thank God he ministered to my spirit. God bless.

If anyone REALLY thinks that a book that may be purchased anywhere by the general public will divulge ANY specific information regarding ANY organization that is exclusive to members, and, that has successfully existed for 100 years, they are sadly mistaken.
