Also, can you only charge through a pc with the given adapter? Or can you plug it into a standard 120v wall socket?** A: If you tap twice on the right side of the watch face it has a back light. It does not stay on the whole time, though. Also, I believe you can only plug it in to the PC to charge. There may be an adapter you can purchase for a wall socket, but it isn't included. **Q: Is there a way to time runs without using the gps? this would be if i just want get moving quickly and not care about distance.** A: I believe there is a stop watch function. But the gps generally gets going very, very quickly, sometimes in just a few seconds. **Q: Is there something wrong with the black version? Why is it so much cheaper than the grey?** A: I didn't know there was another version. We have the black version and it does everything promised.
