Edit on July 29th, 2019:I purchased a second one, because you actually need two.One for yesterday's bread, and the second for today's!In France, we actually have what we call "1/2 baguette".But remember the baguette is meant to be consumed in its entirety during the day. The next day, you go get fresh bread for breakfast. Unfortunately, it is not applicable anymore, as almost nobody makes fresh during the night. Supermarkets only heat up pre-made industrial bread. Not the same.Our bakery, in Houston, makes typical "home" French bread using biological ingredients, but they don't open early enough for us to get it before breakfast, typically 7:00 O'clock.That's why we need to have yesterday's bread to carry us through!Simply perfect!the fabric is nice to the touch, the texture is right, and now I just hope that the bread will stay fresh as it did then....Of course, for it to be functional, you need to have good bread to put in it...fortunately, we have that in Houston!!!

Love the look of the bag but not extremely functional. Bread dries out after 1 day

This is a very nice bag, but it doesn’t keep the bread any fresher than the paper bag it comes in.
