## Description

desertcart.com: Grounding Mat for Sleeping, Carbon Leatherette Grounding Pad for Bed, Foot and Computer - Relieves Pain, Stress & Inflammation, 39 * 11.8in Earth Mat Home Office Travel : Health & Household

Review: It actually works! - I purchased this over a year and a half ago. I tried it and didn't notice anything. I pulled it out after being reminded to ground myself. To my surprise I plugged it in, laid it on my bed and even before I got positioned, my elbow felt better. I could feel tingling in my legs too. My elbow started hurting a few weeks ago, and it had been too painful to pick up any thing over 3lbs. My doctor said the pain would go away on its own, but it hasn't until now. I can feel the pain if I massage the area, but I can stretch my arm without being in excruciating pain. Yes, I recommend this grounding mat on this experience alone. Great quality. I plugged it into a surge protector.
Review: Everything you need to get started - Love this little kit with the earthing mat - which is bigger than I expected - 39" long! It also came with the grounding cord which is 15' long - much longer than most products have out of the box. To get started I unrolled the mat and lay it where I wanted to use it. Orientation wise I put the side with the snap for the grounding cord UP. I plugged the ground end into the ground hole in the wall plug. That's all I had to do. Note that we have used other grounding products so we already had a tester to validate that the ground on the outlet was really grounded. If you're not sure I strongly recommend testing the outlet prior to plugging the mat into the wall. If you don't have a grounded outlet you'll need to sort that out first before you can use the mat. If you don't ground the mat it won't do anything for you. I use this on the floor in front of my sofa and I rest my feet flat on the mat. It is very comfortable. For the price this is one of the easiest ways to get started with earthing. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: How thick it the pad?**
A: The pad is thin but not like a piece of paper. Definitely not bulky. You don't even know it is there

**Q: How long are you suppose to use this to get any results? 10 min? 30 min?**
A: As long as you realistically can. Minimum of 20 minutes is what I'd recommend, same as an epsom salt soak.

**Q: can an adapter be used for European locations? How much does this weigh for travel?**
A: I have other grounding mats that come with adapters that can be used in any outlet so I think probably yes. The weight is just a few ounces but it is fairly stiff so you can't fold it or roll it up real tight but you'd be able to roll it and tuck soft small items in the middle like socks. you could also roll it with your towel or larger clothing items to save on space.

**Q: Is it washable?**
A: I have given it a surface washing without any problem.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unexpected result
*by K***H on September 27, 2022*

After my initial confusion over plugging it in, I started using it. The first night was nothing to brag about but the second morning I noticed a little more energy and slightly less back pain. Now after several weeks I am more energetic and less over all body aches. However, the completely unexpected surprise is that my relatively minor but hugely bothersome hand tremors are noticeably improved. I can't tell you how pleased I am to do things, like write, type this review, get my fork to my mouth, that were difficult before. I am a believer. My only complaint is that I use the pad at night on my bed and I have to move it, straighten it out during the night.
