PowerDoF 1 Machine, 10-Cup Glass Carafe Programmable Coffee Maker, KFJ, Silver

I'm being facetious, really. I truly am puzzled as to how this coffee machine has received ANY glowing reviews. I'm not an extremely picky coffee-maker person. But this one really takes the cake..er, um, coffee.Pros: It looks a little cute...maybeCons: 1. Takes two hands (seriously) to raise the lid 2. Even when using a paper coffee filter, coffee is cloudy and minimally drinkable at best 3. When you use it, there are coffee grounds all over the underside of the top--you have to clean each and every time it is used 4. Good luck figuring out the programable timer--sometimes it would literally start making coffee 10 minutes after I set the timer. I am not a moron--I followed directions--still, inconsistent in how coffee timer worked 5. If you do not use a paper filter, coffee looks like mud.Truly an inferior product. Opt for something simpler, more reliable. We returned this product and purchased a programable Black and Decker--fabulous!

I choose this coffee maker from all the positive reviews. After two months I want to replace. The carafe dribbles everywhere. The coffee tastes pretty good. The heat pad turns off too soon and appears to be no way to program it to stay on longer. Operating it is straight forward and simple. It looks like a mid-century modern coffee maker from the 70's. It's Not my favorite. I miss my Cuisinart.

This coffee machine makes a good pot of coffee however there are some things I wish I knew before I bought it. For example, it shuts itself off very quickly which can be annoying if you’re someone who likes to nurse a cup of coffee all morning. I also didn’t realize it only has a 10 cup pot so for those who prefer 12 cups I wouldn’t recommend this coffee maker. I also don’t like that the lid you left to put the coffee in the filter doesn’t hold itself up. You have to hold the lid up while you pour the coffee into the filter. This is kind of irritating. Other than that I like that the coffee maker has a reusable filter. Also it makes good coffee. It looks nice on the counter, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again based on my personal preference is I also don’t like that the lid you left to put the coffee in the filter doesn’t hold itself up. I honestly don't understand how this product had good reviews. My device had an electronic malfunction. Every time the brewing cycle was complete, the clock would turn off. Which also turned off the warming mechanism. About day 7, the entire system would shut off, mid-brew. Design wise, the top lid doesn't open fully enough to make it easy to pour water into the water barrel. So water would spill everywhere. And the handle on the cone filter was so thin & flimsy, on day 5 it easily broke away from filter when my husband tried to pick up filter of used grounds. I'll give it 3 stars for my amusement as hubby watched stale coffee grounds fly through kitchen.

Sent it back before I even tried it because it looks cheaply made and the pot was too small.

this Johnny 5 style coffee maker has to be one of my most disappointing purchases from any retailer online or in person to date. Do not waste your time or hard earned cash. My hair turned gray waiting for one cup to brew! Also, while waiting 10 minutes for that first cup, (6 oz) the manufactures' brainstormed a small vent on top that will steam burn you in case you might fall back to sleep. No need for snooze button here guys. If a full pot coffee is what you desire best set your alarm 20 minutes earlier. It really did take this long. Now, lets talk about the warmer. What warmer! Automatically turned off after 5 minutes. The timer clocks back to 12:00 after a couple of brews. Timer/alarm is very confusing also. Oh wait don't forget the steam snooze! Lid does not close properly if at all.

I have only kept this coffee maker for 2 reason’s; 1, I used the box to put some stuff in it right away to give to my girls and I believe they tossed it, 2, it is a very attractive and nice looking coffee maker. The trouble however that I have with it, is that when you try and pour out of it to put the water into the machine, the spout is horrible, and it goes everywhere. It is also the same issue when pouring the coffee into my mug or a cup, but if I open it up further and pour slowly, it’s not too bad. It is also hard to move back and forth on a marble countertop as I have to pull it way out from under the cupboard, each time I make the coffee, and then I put it back into place.

I like it's boxy style. Not easy to clean or pour water into machine .
