Very handy to have spares
The magazines are all metal and work quite well - the small pin that locks down the spring during loading is so short that it is difficult to release it without a tool of some sort, so I recommend just holding the slide almost at fully down while loading the paintballs. Very sturdy mags, good finish. Don't leave paintballs in them overnight though, because they will squash a bit and 'chop' when you try to fire them next day.

Paintball Magazine, or Spring Loaded Paintball Launcher? You decide.
The design of these magazines is really not that good. In direct contrast to the Tiberius Arms T8 magazines, these, while much cheaper, are nowhere near as well thought out. In fact, quite honestly, I they aren't really something that can be effectively used in a game, and that's really too bad because the Chaser/Eraser markers they are made for are quite nice otherwise. These magazines require that you compress the spring and lock the spring down by moving a small metal post into a divot near the bottom of the magazine in order to load the mag with paint. This is fairly standard for most paintball clips. However, unlike the Tiberius Arms clip, that metal post needs to be moved -out- of the divot before inserting the magazine into the marker, which places the paintballs under pressure. (Contrasted against the T8 magazines which keep the post in the divot until you insert the mag into the marker, which automatically moves the post out) This means you are fiddling around with your magazine in the middle of a firefight, which is just not reasonable. You CAN move the metal post out of the divot ahead of time and leave them in your mag pouch that way.... But relying on the little metal pressure lever at the top of the clip to keep the balls in isn't very effective. I can tell you from experience that half the time, you'll accidentally eject several of the paintballs from the clip when you pull the clip out your mag pouch. Just tapping gently on the side of the clip can cause a paintball or two to shoot out. It's really a shame that such a great, low-cost paintball marker is hamstring by such a stupid, little design flaw in these magazines.

good pistol magazine
this is a good paint pistol magazine it has a sturdy construction and its light its easy to change magazines out overall i think its a very good paintball gun magazine i think the problem is the the magazines only hold 9 rounds each and theyre kinda pricey but other than that i think they are great magazines.

shoots by itself
these are really good quality. Everything about them was great. Loading them was easy and fit in the gun was great however with the spring tension on the balls "DON'T" touch the ball lock as you will shoot balls everywhere.
