Feels cheap
Feels like a cheap toy compared to a Ripstik Air or Timberwolf (which I also own) -- feels and sounds "plasticy." Wheels are really slow and the axels and bearings are sticky. i got this because I was intrigued by it having 4 wheels instead of 2, but I'm basically going to throw this thing away.

so much fun! but...
I found this item first at a Marshall's and thought it might be interesting and might rival my ripstick G. Because nobody knew about the product at the time, I got it on clearance for only 30 dollars. I loved it!! My ripstick was also a great purchase, and I enjoyed it. I ended up finding 1 at a tj maxx and bought it for only 20 dollars. I have 3 sisters who love it and my dad will join in as well so we got one that was left at the Marshall's and had a blast!! A few months later, I found 2 more here on amazon and got them when they were about 49 dollars. I was slightly disappointed with them because the quality was not nearly as good, and they are very stiff. My old ones are still working very well and actually much better than these. About 3 months after I got these the middle bands popped off now exposing the metal and bolts. Still works, but it is now too flexible. Shred sled has been using slightly different material in these new ones, and it isn't nearly as fun.I still recommend this and can tell you that these are WAY more fun than rip sticks.

my husband stole my kids' shred sled!
it's a weekend and weeknight fight-- who gets to play first. my 125lb son or my 190lb husband. they love it!not good for kids with lower limb prosthetics though-- not able to manipulate device well.it's been a lot of fun for all the boys and a great challenge for each of them!highly recommend!

Shoddy construction. Poor support.
My child's Shred Sled had broken twice. Both times I contacted their customer service and received no response. The first problem we repaired ourselves. The second problem, one one wheels detaching, we were not able to fix.I'm not sure what alternatives are out there, but I suggest you look elsewhere.

Fun, different, harder and choppier.
This caster board rides slightly differently from a Ripstik or similar, because it has joints in the middle. This can make for tighter cornering, but it also makes learning a little more difficult. Also, while this thing is pretty good quality, the wheels or bearings or something seem to not roll quite as smoothly as the ones on a Ripstik. I will probably replace them before they wear out. That also makes learning a little harder. Lastly, the spiky bumps on the tops make it harder to ride this barefoot, which is probably not a big deal for most people, and actually a benefit as far as gripping with shoes.

love it!
I bought this last year to show my kids how cool their mom can be. Although I took a few initial falls, it was pretty easy to get a hang of it and now I absolutely love it!

great fun, but broke within 6 months
My 10 yo less than 60# son got this for christmas. Barely got to use it outside before the joint broke. no customer service response. Not too impressed.

Great Value
Great value. Could not find this item locally for anywhere near this price point. Looks like it will last as construction appears solid.
