Easy to read and did well on the shelf
I only read a little over half, but I think it covers a good amount of detail without doing too much detail. I thought the chapter of blueprints I read had tiny font and was just trying to write every possible thing. I was glad that I bought NMS because it was much easier to read and very clear. I got above 90 on the shelf using this, case files and the online CLIPP cases, so I would recommend this over blueprints.

Good for the well child visit material
I think you can get the disease info concerning peds in many places but they first 200 or so pages of this book is where it sets itself apart from others. There's a lot of material concerning well child visits which is heavily tested but not really covered in many review texts.

GREAT TEXT
This book is a detailed note of medical school course work and required knowledge. I highly recommend this for any IMGs that has enough time to study for CK, it has most of the necessary information. I use most, cos I am yet to finish this book. Worth my time and money. I believe with this book and a good pathology and pathophysiology background , all u need will be questions .

Information concise and easy to follow
The information in this pediatric book was straightforward and easy to digest. Especially for someone who does not come from a pediatric background. The book is a little bigger than a standard spiral notebook. Easy to carry around and use as a guide. Highly recommend!

best Peds review book
This covered minutae without perseverating on one topic for too long. There were little facts that I read that came up on exam questions or on wards that only I knew because others were reading First Aid. I was able to read through whatever chapters were being covered each week on the Peds clerkship without it being overwhelming and I made it through the entire book. I read the parts I highlighted a couple days before Step 2 and I was set.

Wonderful book. I would have loved to read through ...
Wonderful book. I would have loved to read through this more thoroughly had I the time, but it gives you a pretty good outline of what's important for the pediatric rotation.

nit picky details
It is an okay book but not great. I didn't find it that comprehensive and it had a lot of details that were not on the shelf and too detailed to be important. It is also hard to get through since everything is in outline form with almost no pictures/diagrams

Good book for M3 rotation
Great book, succinct yet has sufficient information to understand most except rare pathology. Just what you need for a rotation. Also has questions for each chapter and an online practice
