Bought this to replace a previous one that was curling up, with divots. Worried it would come in a cylinder and take a while to flatten out and not solid to prevent divots. Came in a package (I bought the biggest one) that was flat so no worries there. More important it is solid and no divots, rolls the way I wanted. So I am delighted, could not ask for more, Sure beats going to an Office Depot and trying to get in the car especially with carpet hooks that hurt when carrying. With this, take the box into the room, and no finger dings!

The Chair Mat arrived on Friday as promised. However, when I opened the box the Mat was rolled up and held together by plastic tape. The sticker on the Mat stated, "Caution, Do not Bend or Fold, Ship Flat!" Upon cutting the tape to release the Mat it flipped open hit me in the forehead, broke my glasses. no damage to me and the glasses were old but I thought you might want to know about this careless packing. Any comment ?

We put this down on the carpet and used a nice office chair with rollers on it - but within a week we heard a loud pop! We noticed that it had shattered in an area with a diameter of about 6 inches. I had to get a refund for it. It looked like the quality was good - but it wasn't in our case.

I am using this in my home office and was very pleased with the quality and value. The plastic is thick and easy to clean.I have a low pile carpet but I think it would work equally well with medium pile. My office chair rolls as smoothly as I hoped.I like the fact that it is recyclable although it is much thicker than other similar products I have used and I expect it to last for a long time.

This is a rigid, hard plastic mat with points on one side such that it won't slide on the carpet. Because it is hard, you should only use with with chairs/furniture that have broad bases on their legs or wheels. I can see a chair with a narrow point leading to cracking or piercing, especially if the mat is used on a high pile carpet. You'd want a softer mat, the kind that is likely shipped rolled up if you are using high pile carpet so there is more "give" in the mat material.It's transparent and easy to clean, easy to move, and is comfortable to walk on with bare feet. It ships flat and while it will bend a little (e.g. you can lift it up and vacuum underneath it easily) it will not curl up on its own. I like it a lot.So why only 4 stars? Well the edges aren't beveled and are hard, so I could see if you slid a foot or finger along the side you could get cut. Nicer mats taper off at an angle. Also I bought two from Iconik Direct and while the first shipped in a box and was new, the second had no interior box, was missing some labels the first one had, and was clearly used. The way it was packaged was pretty atrocious too. It was in very good shape and was quite simple to clean the previous user's scuff marks off, but it definitely wasn't new.Overall this is a great mat. Highly recommended!

Worst product I have ever bought on Amazon! The mat is 3/4” shorter (in both length and width) than the advertised size and, more importantly, the studs (or lugs) are TOO SHORT (by at least 2mm) so that this mat slides and moves around like crazy on my very low pile carpet by the end of EVERY work day! Very disappointed! I HATE IT!!! Also, the item is sent rolled (bound by an enormous zip tie) and will almost literally fly open when you cut the zip tie... so watch out! Definitely do NOT recommend this item for the foregoing reasons. Avoid!!!

Love it, definitely would buy again. It's light weight, durable, easy to clean and fits perfect with my desk. Not to mention it is not destroying my carpet. Others broke, shattered and messed up my carpet. The a 340lb person with ease. I recommend this item so much I told my Job about it.

The mat was shipped flat I let the mat warm up to room temperature rolled my chair over it the first time and the mat cracked. I'm in the northeast and the mat was shipped in March I wonder if the mat was still cold, why it cracked. I contacted customer service sent them photos as requested and received a new mat within a few days. This mat has been great I have had it for about a month so far so good.

Don't often do this at all, but bought this item 5 weeks ago (okay yes, it is over the warranty but hey!). Rolled my chair back and crack.... the mat cracked... I write to the seller who offers a 16% discount on a new one!? No, I am sorry but I am not messing about, poor rating and taking my money elsewhere... This was product was great to start with until after about 3-4 weeks there was a small cracking noise when I wheeled around in the chair. Now the crack has spread the whole way from one side to the other - I have gorilla taped it along the way to try salvage but no good. I have ended up throwing it out. Contacting the seller to be offered a 16% refund. I am not a heavy person - 5ft 4in and a size 12. The product is on carpeted floor with a standard office chair on 5 wheels so disappointed it didn't do the job. I will say that I purchased two as the other was for my husbands home office work space - also on carpeted floor and that one has not cracked - so far.

After approx. 4 weeks of moderate use this mat (advertised as being shatterproof) is beginning to crack. Presumably this is because the mat is faulty. I am trying to arrange for an exchange. The only option I have been given so far is to be refunded by return via the Post Office. I am unable to do this because of its size / weight and I cannot print the returns lable. The mat I have received is not shatterproof as advertised and is therefore faulty / unfit for purpose. Happy for an exchange / return - but not at my inconvenience/cost. The return policy for this faulty item is unrealistic - especially at a time when we are being asked to stay at home. Trying to contact Amazon to discuss the return / refund / exchange options.

Overpriced rubbish... don’t waste your money.Had the mat a couple of months and it has become brittle and started breaking into small sharp pieces. Contacted the seller has to replace the defective item but refused.I have had a chair mat and this office chair for some time on this flooring and had no problems and opted to get a larger chair mat so I bought this mat. It arrived in time but the quality of the material is brittle and it has started to fall apart.As from the photos it is not shatterproof as described and it is not suitable for carpeted floors as the listing claims. The carpet in the photo is a small area rug but this is on a tiled floor.

I would not recommend this product if you have a carpet that thas a standard type pile length, or a floor that has uneven floorboards. I use this chair mat at home with a standard 5-wheel chair, on a standard home-style carpet. The mat is 'fixed' under the desk by the table sitting on top of it. The mat has semi-spherical 'bobbles' on the underside to resist moving on the carpet. Unfortunately, even with the table sitting on top of the mat, it still has a tendancy to move in the direction of the carpet pile, so it requires adjustment at the end of each day. Also, since my floorboards are uneven, the mat broke where I presume there is a small dip in the boards and one chair wheel must have pushed into this depression. So, although the mat has not shattered, it has broken and the break has splintered in different directions across the mat.
