It catches everything
I caught a non-venomous snake in it and it was impossible to remove the snake safely. If I ever catch a deadly snake in it I wouldn't worry about trying to free the snake. It also catches rodents and stuff that blows into it so the sticky pads have to be replaced often.

This trap is sized right for large snakes. I had previously purchased the small glue traps, which are about 9 by 5 inches, and larger snakes like rat snakes could rid themselves of them with little difficulty. Don't bother with them; you'll just have a mess of glue that the snake leaves behind. I just received these traps and don't have any feedback now about their effectiveness, but Cahaba delivered them to me in just 2 days, just like Prime shipping from Amazon. I have no doubt that when a snake enters this trap, it won't be leaving it.

False advertising
I purchased this years ago but just opened it and very disappointed to find there were only 4 catch inserts when the ad says it comes with 8. There’s a invoice in the box that says 4 but the ad says 8.

Not worth the price
The stick pads are good but the box containers are just a $2.00 piece of plastic. way over priced for what you receive.

If there was an option for zero, I would have chosen that one. These things are worthless and cheaply made. Actually all you are doing is inserting a sticky sheet inside this box with open ends. Think about it, once a snake puts its head on the sticky sheet, it isn't going inside the box. Totally ridiculous contraption which they are selling for over $100.00
