Contemporary Debates in Bioethics 1st Edition

Very easy to read! I love the big letters.

Textbook print is small, Kindle is helpful.

I purchased both the print version and the ebook version to try to see if maybe the format was giving me a challenge and that I just needed a tangible book. Nope. This book taught me NOTHING. There are no explanations of any basic Bioethics concepts that were outline in my course syllabus. I was supposed to read chapters from the book and create my own argumentative essay from that but couldn't figure out what was going on because I felt like I was watching a townhall screaming match. Had to go online and find other free resources and purchase a separate basic book to supplement this one. Hopefully I passed my class. For anyone wondering Its CUNY School of Professional Studies Bioethics 201 (required class). The author has done a garbage job writing this book and any professor who assigns this as the mandatory text is a jerk.

As a student taking a Bioethics class currently, I cannot recommend that any professor put their students through a the torture of reading this. I'm one of those weird few who likes reading textbooks and without a doubt this is the worst one I have ever laid eyes on. Instead of having an introductory portion in the beginning of the text that teaches about different ideologies, their views, their history, etc. it is simply a debate back and forth between two people in the forms of essays. In this text a topic is given and two opposing views are presented. In order to learn material and write essays for my class I had to use every resource but this textbook. Instead of reselling my textbook to another student in need, this one is going in to be burned when I am done.Warning: If your professor uses this text, and this text alone, get a new professor. You will need supplemental material to actually learn and apply concepts.

Muy buen libro de abre el panorama del tema y fundamenta muy bien las posturas a favor y en contra del tema. Muy completo.
