For a £4 addition to my Halloween costume I wasn't expecting much. But I am shocked, this is amazing! It is a full sized wand in perfect replica design. It comes in a harry potter 7 movie wand box lined with silky green material. Beautiful and a stunning addition to my harry potter collection as it's much more than a Halloween prop!

This review covers the "Telfordstore" unlicensed wand replicas - fake replicas as they are also known.For those that want to avoid the fakes because they are buying for a loved one or not sure how to tell the difference; the fakes are usually one solid colour as opposed to 2 or 3 subtly different shades, simplification of sculpted detail on the handles, and boxes with overly coloured poster art along with a unofficial title/abbreviation on such as "HP7" as opposed to "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1"I bought this fully aware that it was a knockoff, but I wanted something cheap and cheerful that I could take out to parties or play with when I was feeling childish as opposed to spending £30 on an authentic wand that I was afraid of spoiling.The wand came warped with the shaft noticeably curved, it seemed to have a modicum of elasticity so I tenderly tried to bend it straight, it snapped instantly. While you might say "well that's your fault for breaking it" (which is fair) the resin used to make these wands is still very fragile and unsuitable to be used as a toy as it shatters easily and isn't detailed enough to be used as a display piece.To summarise; the material quality is terrible and I was expecting it to be bad, unless you are particularly delicate it's liable to snap or shatter, it isn't faithful or detailed enough to display.Buy one of these only if you can find them for a fiver and you desperately need it for cosplay or a fancy dress party but don't have the money for an official one.

After visting the Harry Potter Studios in London, and almost buying this exact wand at an extortionate price, I am very pleased to say that this much cheaper alternative is just perfect!I absolutely love this! It is actually very well made and even comes in a nice presentation box -- and of course, it's also great for casting spells!

Excellent product. I bought one and paid 26£ for it and my daughter broke it in half next day. So I bough this one. Absolutely no difference between them , only the price. I would recommend it, excellent buy. And it comes in a very pretty box .

This is a great looking wand, and the detail on it is fantastic.

Grandson really liked this but before one week out it snapped in two - because he was so disappointed decided to order a more expensive one which so far so good is still in one piece!
