World of Doughnuts

Although there is large section of recipes from the United States, the rest of the world is well represented in this book. There are sections on Classic and Contemporary Favorites, as well as Regional Favorites, both from the U.S. There are also sections on Mexico and South America, Europe, and The Eastern and Southern Mediterranean and Asia. There are recipes that accompany some of the recipes, such as Churros and Spanish-style hot chocolate. There are many recipes that I haven't heard of, that sound delicious, such as Awwamat, from Lebanon, and Gulab Jamun, from India, as well as familiar ones that I would like to make, such as Apple Cider Doughnuts. I think this book would be a great choice if you are interested in international food, or if you just like making different foods.

Fun recipe book. Bought as a gift for a brother graduating from the police academy :D Laughs were had and it has a nice assortment of recipes, with great photos, from around the world. Simple, clear directions. Only made 4 so far and they've all turned out delightful.

Well illustrated and easy to follow directions. Sturdy hard cover edition with wide pages and clear print. Good variety of baked goods.
