I ordered the lion cross-stitch and can say it’s the most fun cross-stitch I have done in a long time. I have always loved cross-stitches with a lot of colours and this one is perfect. But confusing at first (since I haven’t done one in a long time) but once you get into it you can’t put it down. Would definitely recommend. I will update with a photo once I have nearly done

Absolutely fantastic cross-stitch. I haven’t done one for at least 25 years so was nervous to see if I could manage. Took me 5 months, I could have done it quicker but I just wanted to be able to pick it up and put it down over time. It was very easy to follow, although sometimes challenging with the more intricately shaped parts to workout how to sew it without wasting thread as I saw some reviews stating they ran out. I sewed with three threads and had loads of each colour left over so not sure where other users have been going wrong. I was worried the print would bleach out when rinsed but I followed the instructions and it came out beautifully. Will definitely be buying another from the range!

Very happy with picking this as my first ever cross stitch . I wish perhaps there was a little more information about what Aida is and what number of strands you need as I got this wrong (total newbie). I used YouTube for help on the different stitches as the info given wasn't enough for me . Glad I found out the stamp/blue lines can be washed off though it scared me until I saw it came out fine and did a little dance lol . Will use this brand again

Lovely cross stitch, enjoyed doing it. Only reason for 4 stars is I did run out of thread right at the end and had to order some more.

Excellent service from the seller the item arrived the next morning. The seller has also listened to previous reviews about the lack of threads as they have now added extra threads in certain colours so this was really helpful. I completed mine with 2 strands and there was more than enough thread and it looks beautiful. This was my first stamped cross stitch and I have finished it actually too quickly as I literally couldn't put it down, it was so easy and relaxing to complete, no counting squares on a blank canvas, I could just sit, relax and watch TV at the same time. I was apprehensive when soaking it in water after finishing but the finished product is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to get it framed.

Not a massive fan, the cross-stitch itself is beautiful but I've used up all of the red using 2 threads at a time and am only a quarter through the colour needed on the pattern, and now the same is happening with the black. I've had to purchase more threads from another retailer costing me an extra £15, not to mention the time colour matching in store. I'd have expected that if it was to come with the materials there would be sufficient enough for the full piece.

I finished this beautiful cross stitch months ago and then proceeded to do a white background but I didn't like it because you could see the blue lines behind it. So I spent loads of time to think about what to do and to take the white I had already done for background off.Then I went back to instructions and put the aida canvas in warm water and 1 minutes later the background light blue lines were gone!! And it is now ready without having to sow any background. I would have finished ages ago if I had read the instructions properly, I am so mad with myself.I recommend buying it and when finished put in warm water for one minute, take it out and throw away the water, put back in another new warm water bucket, keep 1 minute (or less) until the canvas is cleanI had to do it only twice and you can see in the pictures the first pic is after one rinse, the second pic is after the second rinse. Perfect!

I recently brought this cross stitch kit, but recently realise, the stitches have changed since l last did a cross stitch kit from younger days.I am struggling to master the different styles of stitches.I also realise the colours in the kit does not match the colours on the kit, it’s like finding colour nearest to kit.like yellow on kit ,but it’s like no1 show yellow, but the strands are grey for no1.That’s what I am struggling with.Hence why l give 3/4 stars.
