Perfect for hangling stained glass - yes stained glass
I ordered this because they description said it was very strong. I had several small stained glass pieces I wanted to hang in a window. This worked very well. And I will keep it for when my son comes to Florida and needs fish line to go fishing!

Mono Nylon Fishing Line
I purchased this for my husband who is an avid fisherman. He hasn't had a chance to use it fishing just yet, however, he did say it was a good quality line and it wound on his reel nicely. I am looking forward to him catching a big one soon! After he did that, I used it to hang some Christmas decorations outside and it was sturdy for them as well!

Works well for ocean fishing
I have a fairly heavy line. For something like this it's tempting to think "Fly Fishing!" But this is clear, and the thing about fly fishing is having such clear line can certainly invite you to lose track of the line and have to clear out a birds nest every five minutes. Plus, it sinks pretty well, another issue that keeps it from being good for fly. No, I popped this on a spin cast rig instead, for use in close-in ocean fishing. Not deep sea, mind you...I doubt this line will handle the really BIG guys, and even if it could I doubt that *I* could handle them!It wound nicely - no kinks or things. Because of the weight it is a little on the stiff side, but that's not out of the ordinary for the equipment. I did like that while stiff, when properly weighted it did not perform oddly...it cast pretty cleanly and dropped nice. It did not get in the way of my presenting the lure properly.Alas, as is generally the case, I didn't catch much of anything worth mentioning. Meh, fishing for me is just an excuse to sit on a boat and drink beer anyway.I'm quite happy with this line. It works well and stands up to heavy use. It's a good product.
