Is the spine ridge on the back scratchy? Yes. But my children couldn't care less. Got one at first, little bro insisted on one for his BD, too. They both sleep w/ it every night!

Doesn’t make noise
Nice enough stuffed animal but it does not purr or growl - we tried squeezing him all over and he makes no noise. So not worth the price when the description is not what you get.
