The IPCC-7210W V2 4x Optical Zoom HD Pan/Tilt/Zoom Wireless Dome IP Camera is an IP Camera with a color CMOS sensor, which enables a viewing resolution of up to 1280 x 720. This high-quality optical zoom video camera, with its autofocus capabilities, brings a clear video picture straight to your hands, from anywhere over your local area network or the Internet. An embedded further strengthens its surveillance capabilities. The IPCC-7210W V2 supports the industry-standard H.264 compression technology, significantly lowering both the bandwidth needed for video transmission and the recorded video file size. It therefore offers a great video surveillance solution for rural areas, where bandwidth is not always available. The camera’s built-in Web server supports Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome for both configuration settings and image viewing. The IPCC-7210 plug-and-play (P2P), QRCode scanning, ONVIF and wireless capabilities enable a quick and easy setup and installation – no extensive networking or data communication knowledge needed! Free P2P applications for both iPhone/iPad and Android devices enable remote viewing from anywhere. Such access is ideal for video/audio surveillance purposes of areas such as backyards, driveways, courtyards, farms and livestock, storage areas, supermarkets, and schools.

SOLID THROUGH AND THROUGH
This is a well-built, solid camera with excellent resolution. User interface is somewhat finicky, particularly with regard to motion detection settings. Was able to resolve my issues via outstanding support from customer service (David). I use IE10 and Firefox. Aside from a now resolved and minor issue with IE compatibility settings, both work fine. Camera works with Blue Iris, as well. This camera is similar to the SRICAM AP005 (have both), however the UI is different. Also found that slaving the IPCC-7210 is much more stable and controllable whereas the SRICAM tends to lose control with short clicks of the mouse during pan, tilt and zoom commands. Both have similar characteristics with focus in that manual adjustment of focus is usually required when zooming in/out, however the IPCC-7210 does recall focus setting when calling preset positions. Night vision is adequate up to about 40 feet with a nice sharp image. The daytime color and picture quality is truly impressive for a camera at this price point.

Best Camera in This Price Range
I have only had this camera for a couple of days, but so far,... I absolutely love it.I have quite a bit of experience with security cameras and as far as the "lower-end" cameras go, this is the best one out there. The image quality is excellent, as is the night vision and the features that come with this one (Pan, Tilt, Zoom, Motion Detection, Etc,..) are unheard of in this price range for a unit with this image quality.I have seen in the Q&A section that this does not support audio, but mine does. I can click a speaker button on the User Interface and start hearing audio. The camera is on my front porch and the mic picked up my wife yelling at the dogs to come eat yesterday. It has a Microphone button too that that UI says you can hold to transmit audio to the camera, but that does not seem to work.Setup was easy using the included Ethernet cable, then I just mounted it, ran power and it has been working great ever since.I have had to wipe the lense a couple of times due to rain as droplets stayed on it, but I am thinking of hitting it with a little Rain-X to see if that solves the problem without any image distortion. The number of features that this thing comes with is amazing. Motion Detection with email alert, FTP, scheduled or alarm-triggered recording, Etc,...I have a motion light and even when the night-vision is on the camera adjusts quickly to compensate for the added light, takes about 1 to 1.5 seconds for the image to go clear again once the light kicks on.You can also manually adjust the IR level, brightness & contrast to get the best image for your lighting situation.I is also nice to be able to view it on any phone, tablet or computer (even works OK on my Mac). I carry my iPad around with me to keep an eye on my cameras and this one works great with it (aside from the zoom function not working on the iPad, it does on all my computers and my Android phone, just not the iPad. I don't really use zoom though, so not a bog deal to me)Assuming that this thing stands up to the elements and lasts a while, I could not be happier with the purchase.Like I mentioned, I have a fair amount of experience with security cameras and for the price, this is the best one I have ever seen.I will be adding a second one to my property soon.

Very good camera for the money.
I just purchase my second IPCC 7210W camera (five weeks apart). For the money, it is a very good camera. It has all the functions, optical zoom, digital zoom, auto focus, night vision, etc. that most users would want. I give it 5 Stars for its overall performance and it’s construction quality. The picture and operation seem very stable.I have installed other IP cameras and found the 7210W manual to be better than most other camera manuals, but, the manual could use some improvement in some of the instructions. [Likely it is a translation from Chinese.] The camera set-up is VERY easy, I had both of my cameras working in less than five minutes with the IPC Cam Central utilities and the IOS apps. You will likely run into trouble when you start working with the various browsers to view the camera images; here, EXPECT problems. Before you get frustrated at the camera, remember, that browser issues (settings) ARE NOT camera problems. I access my cameras from six different computers, each with IE, Chrome and Firefox. In none of my computers were the browser settings the same, and in each case I had to figure out what the appropriate settings were to view the cameras. I have not been able to use the Safari browser on my iPhones and iPads [I guess I haven’t figured out the right settings, but, the IOS apps work well.]Some things you need to verify is that the required plugin(s) are installed and not blocked by your virus protection. In the case of Internet Explorer, make sure that the Active X plugins are turned OFF, and in case of Chrome you need to enable NPAPI (the manual page 12 talks about this). I found that Firefox had the fewest number of issues to address and was the easiest to set-up.Also, when using a browser for camera viewing, make sure you know the difference between the IP address assigned by your gateway/router and the IP address assigned by your Internet Service Provider. If you use the wrong addresses, you may think the camera is the problem. You will have to use the DDNS address and make sure the HTTP and RTSP ports of the camera are portforwarded. If you use an ISP assigned Dynamic IP address, remember that it is subject to periodic renewal and may change. For smart phone access (iPhone and iPad), I used the P2PIPC and Rotro free apps. All the functions on both apps work well. . The great thing about them, is there is no need for router configuration changes. You scan the QR code or Search the LAN and the camera is configured. The one drawback is that they are free apps and they are short on written “how-to” instructions (no tutorials). You have to figure everything out intuitively. The paid app IP Cams Pro works even better and is great because it comes with lots of instructions and tutorials (and they have real customer support that understands you and is responsive). Here too, you have to portforward the HTTP and RTSP ports. There is a way around the browser set-up issues. Try the Blue Iris software package for viewing and managing the camera; they have a free trial period. This software also has many really useful features and you can view multiple cameras without the hassles of a browser set-up.Lastly, the Customer Service at IP Cam Central is great; they are quick and responsive.YES, I would definitely recommend the IPCC 7210W camera from IP Cam Central to a friend.
