Bana Twin Fish Design Chinese Gaiwan (Traditional Chinese Teaware Comprised of a Cup, Saucer and Lid) - Made in Jingdezhen and Pu-erh Tea Sample

9/19/11: I'm updating my review to mention the excellent service received from this seller. They actually contacted me concerning the lid being broken (even though it was no fault of the product). The fact that they were concerned and contacted me shows that they care about customer service and I like to encourage/support companies with such practices. I will definitely be doing business with them again.---When I bought this it did not state the capacity and it was smaller than I thought it would be, it's great they added that in the description now.I really like the design and it is a decent quality gaiwan. Unfortunately, I dropped the lid and broke it so it has been retired to merely a cup.I have a lot of gaiwans and I do think the price on this one is a bit high. I have other quality gaiwans that were half the cost.At any rate, if the price doesn't bother you and/or you don't want to wait for shipping time from other sources (at half the cost), this is a nice purchase.

I got this cup for a Christmas gift and it is truly top notch. It arrived well packed, nothing broken and no scratches or stains. The design is below the top layer of glaze, so I am not worried about it ever coming of during cleaning. It is a decent size for a single serving of tea. This size is really meant to be used as a single serving cup rather than a pitcher like some of the larger gaiwan are.

The people at the Bana Tea Company sent me this nice Gaiwan I ordered. Not only did they send me that but product info on their company, and two small bags of free tea with information about the tea in the packages. It looks good, hasn't faded in the wash, and they were nice enough to throw in some tea. no complaints its so far the best thing I have purchased from Amazon so far.

This Chinese gaiwan teacup is very lovely. It fits right in the palm of your hand. I love the graceful fish design.
