not sturdy at all
This was a gift so I didn't open the plastic wrap it was in prior and the piece that holds the bell was broken when I gave the gift. Of course it was after the return window. So make sure to double check your purchase when it is delivered.

Great Rooster Dinnerbell!
I have not got it hung yet, but i got it on time, and I LOVE IT! I plan on mounting it in my kitchen, and maybe my husband will hear it and come when I ring it, as it is now, I have to stamp on the floor so he hears it

It's a chicken bell
It's a seemingly cast iron bell with a chicken on top. The assembly was not great and the screw was really bent. But it works as a decorative bell on the front of the house... with a chicken on top.

The string provided was a poor design. Had to redesign a propper way to hang so the bell would ring right. No instructions. Thanks China, tell Biden hi!

Farmhouse dinner bell.
All 5 of my grandkids enjoy ringing the dinner bell. It's acheavy cast iron dinner bell that has a real farmhouse appeal. The quality assures me it will be around for a long time!
