Bought it twice, failed twice
I first received these and thought I'd gotten a great deal. They seem well build, strong, fit properly and 1/2 the price of the name brand tubes.But... the connections (the whole reason for buying them right?)... fail to keep their connection. The only way to keep the connections full contacted between each other when stacked is to physically hold the tubes in a constant "turn".So to make this clear.. all three tubes work fine if they are attached directly to the camera alone. But when stacked on each other, they do not keep the connection with the camera. The connection jumps "on/off/on" back and forth. in other words the tubes are not tight enough with each other. So I returned my first purchase and figured it must be a fluke and that a new set would be fine. But no,,, exact same issue.

Not worth it
Product was extremely difficult to put not eh camera and remove. So difficult in fact that I was worried I would break something on my camera. Description said it was for AF, but that did not work at all. It's manual focus only. I could set my shutter speed but aperture did not work either. I can not recommend this product at all. Sorry.

Attractive and functional extension tube set.
I recently received this AF macro extension tube set and I am very pleased with the finish of the set, very much like Nikon's lenses.Of course, my first concern was would it attach smoothly without damage to lens or camera, and would it release properly. Yes and yes. The electrical contacts and f-mount engage properly and are finished nicely. The units lock in place correctly and the release pins work with no issue. It does allow both types of autofocus to work, camera driven (like a 50mm D type lens) and lens mounted drives (like the silent wave or similar), but lenses did not lock focus easily. I have much better luck with manual focus. (you will probably find moving the camera back and forth or a focusing rail will be easiest) I successfully mounted Nikon D and G type lenses, as well as Tamron lenses. The item description could use some work, it is a copper mount version, not copper "Mountain". It is not solid metal, but has copper mounts, and feels like an internal metal construction. The outside case is plastic, and looks and feels very similar to a new style Nikon G lens.I believe this is the same set as the upscale Aputure set, but comes in a "Kaavie Travor" box with no papers or pouch. This was not a concern as I have an extra small lens bag and if you need instruction, you can look on line for proper use of this type of item. (the price was better than the Aputure packed set) If you know what the limitations of ANY af extension tube set are, and appreciate nicely executed appearance and workmanship, you will like these.

Best value
I did a lot of research before buying this product. I am SO pleased with this purchase. The rings are sturdy and strong and snap off and on like a pro. This was a value for the money and are highly recommended to others.

Not too good.
Was hoping for Nikon quality on a Chinese budget. I am a little afraid to use them. They don't feel quite right when they mount. I am afraid of damaging the camera or lens. The gold plated contacts are what concern me. They have too much friction compared to the feel that i get when I mount Nikon on Nikon.

Not so good on a Nikon D90 or D7100
Not so good on a Nikon D90 or D7100. The devices work but it's almost impossible to get your subject into focus. You have to place the camera just the right distance from the subject because the entire range of "in focus" is about 1 inch from near to far.
