I was at a comic book shop and just picked it randomly because the cover looked interesting. I really enjoyed that volume and started to look around for more of this character and series. This is the first volume so this is where I was supposed to start with the story but whatever. The character is really interesting. Aphrodite IX is a synthetic life form designed to be the perfect assassin but she doesn't know it yet. Her memory blacks out a few minutes after the mission is complete thus rendering her useless to police. The ideas and story are done really well and the pace keeps you turning the pages. I will definitely follow this character and series some more and see where it goes.
