Apparently, a 30-pin Adapter is VERY difficult to find. This was for my iPod shuffle to use with my Bose speakers. After much searching, this was the only adapter that was not just a charger, but also claimed to be able to play the music off my iPod as well. Plugged the 30-pin portion onto my speakers, tried BOTH the attachments to my iPod (both separately and together), and NOTHING happened - no sound came from my speakers. Very disappointed; I will be returning this. Unfortunately, all of the reviews for this product were for a soy milk maker(??), so I had no way of knowing that this was a defective product before I purchased it.

Wanted to connect a 30 pin device to my iPhone XS, these seemed just the ticket so I ordered two. They did not work at all - nothing! Bought the Apple version - works great. Seems someone did not pay the licensing fee to get the specs to make this thing work.

Did not work at all, when I asked for a refund I was told I’d have to pay a restocking fee even though it was missing all but 4 pins. Went in the trash.

This adapter only charges the attached electronic device. It will not support audio or analog syncing from your iPod docking station.
