Sharp hard bristles
I bought this for my son who due to his SPD has a really hard time with toothbrushing. I've seen rave reviews for similar products and was hopeful. My son was even willing to give them a shot. They are aweful. The position the brush holds the bristles leave them too close together for you to actually get it around your teeth without constant readjustment. The bristles are also hard and sharp. This would cause horrible gum recession or rawness with any sort of usage. I do not recomend at all.

Great for sensory issues.
My son had sensory issues and brushing his teeth is a nightmare. He's had so many dental issues and unfortunately, they will follow him for a lifetime. These have made it easier for him to tolerate the scratching sensation and sound from regular toothbrushes. My younger daughter likes them, too, and I like that they come with interchangeable heads because they get chewed up fairly quickly.

Autism toothbrush
Awesome and I got more replacements than they said I would. Highly recommend for all children who may have a prob with brushing

Hmmm it was a nice try
I guess it does what it's supposed to do... but your gums may start bleeding. The bristles are hard like the floor scrubbers.. I won't use them again

Gets the job done
These were suggested by a friend. My son had Autism and brushing can be difficult for him. The bristles are not very soft but it gets the job done.

Decent Brush
A long time ago I bought brushes very similar to this one but the heads weren't removable. I loved those brushes and they were great at busting up old calculus so I figured these new ones would be the same. Unfortunately I was wrong. These new brushes are much more comfortable to hold and have a bit of heft to them. While the older ones were basically like plastic popsicle sticks, these new ones have a contoured handle with some rubber on it that is very nice to hold. I brush in the shower and so it's also water resistant and doesn't slip from the hand. Really, the only downside is that they tried to innovate the heads by making them removable, which I can appreciate to a certain extent. However, by making the heads removable, the head itself is a bit more flimsy. This causes the "grip" of the brush to diminish within a couple seconds of use. Because of how the head is designed, when this happens you're forced to sorta offset the brush to one side or the other to be sure you're actually getting good contact. After a while I noticed my brush was missing some gunk in crevices and sadly I barely use it anymore. Mostly I use it for scrubbing my molars as their width tends to fully utilize the head despite how flimsy it is.
