For a Title Like This There Should Be More BDSM
This is an approximately 200 page book and there is way too much happening. It was marked as an erotic romance book, but it’s also a suspense, and it needs to one or the other, not both. The book is called Submission, subtitle The Doms of Club Eden. Maybe three scenes happen in Eden. H had h calling him Sir all the time, but it wasn’t a 24/7 D/s relationship. He punishes her, but starts punishing her before explaining why. She’s knew to the lifestyle, but there isn’t that much conversation. Also there is a scene at the H’s home that involves whip cream and chocolate sauce, and I could help but think it was very juvenile and just something that’s been way over done in all facets of entertainment. For a book where the title focuses on BDSM, I expected a lot more BDSM. I was left sorely disappointed.

Awesome book!
I had read this book before and enjoyed it but now the author has done a complete rewrite and added more to the story. We get dual point of views in this book and Ms. Shaw really added a lot more layers and a lot more depth to the characters. Penny is wanting to try things so with her friends suggestion, she attends a local munch. There she meets Marcus. He alpha, he's dominate and he makes her weak in the knees. I love the interaction between these two characters as Marcus does his best to hide his feelings while still very interested in Penny. But Marcus has trouble following him and soon it's too late to keep his attraction to Penny under wraps. Someone is after her but can he keep her safe? There were a few parts where I just wanted to smack Marcus but he is still one of my favorites in this series! I highly recommend this book!!

Missing Something🐺🍆⛲👋
ADULT Alpha Male BDSM Romance💕 with a Criminal Stalker👺.This book is written in first person with dual points of view , but the author fails to identify the speaker. So it is a guessing game to who is narrating, especially at the beginning of each chapter. For some reason, to me, this book just seemed like the characters were going through the motions. They have no life in them, no spark💥, no lust for living. The female character, Penny💃💋, is totally accepting of whatever the Dom, Marcus🐺🍆⛲👋 wants to do to her. Does that make her a doormat? Every word out of Marcus' mouth is trite BDSM novel lingo. Of course, Marcus🐺🍆⛲👋 is an older, experienced Dom, and quite a Spankster👋👋👋! Penny💃💋 is a young woman who doesn't really know what she is looking for, so it's a familiar trope. The book is lacking something, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe I've read too many of these type books. It seems like its just a formula novel. The book isn't bad, it's just not very good. Would give it 3.5 🌟 stars if it were possible.

First Time
Love diving into a new book and an author I hadn’t read before. Throw in the genre BDSM and I’m all over it. The lifestyle fascination for me is addictive and discovering how different authors approach it is interesting.Penny was a great Heroine, she’s new to the lifestyle and is ready to embrace what’s to come. Nervous her first glimpse into it is real. She doesn’t hold back, she’s relatable! When she spots Marcus at her first event the attraction is hot. You could feel the chemistry between our leads.Marcus is a Dom and he couldn’t help but notice the nervousness radiating from the newcomer. Perhaps coming on too strongly may have been a mistake but he’s confident she’ll be back. It’s well explained and fast moving. That bite of suspense in the story was perfect and kept you on the edge, wanting closure. The secondary characters have me wanting their stories. It was easy to read and the steam factor was a given.I’ve just downloaded the second book and I want more.

A pleasant, light read
This book was a bit strange. The plot was fantastic with good twists, but it seems like the focus of the story was off. The narration seem to skip over the most interesting parts that should have been developed. I would have rather read more about Grace's story, everyone's interpersonal relationships or even the running of Club Eden than conversations about clothes which did not add to the story.Penny could have been so much more interesting. She has a high stress job, is discovering the lifestyle and faces serious issues with Marcus but all we hear about are her erotic feelings about the scenes. There's no character growth and it feels a bit disjointed. So many missed opportunities, but I'll read the next book and hope it improves as the writing really doesn't do the story justice.

Great start to the series!
Penny felt like her life was missing something so she went in search of it. She attended a BDSM meet and greet where she met Bridget and Marcus. Bridget took her under her wing and explained the ins an outs of a D/s relationship. Marcus claimed Penny from the start and offered to show her the ropes. The more time they spent together the closer they became. Danger came and threatened to end them both. Despite that and a secret that Marcus withheld, they managed to get their happy ever after. Marcus and Donovan gave Penny one hell of a birthday present! This story was easy to read and had a great story line. I look forward to reading others books by the author!

This is even better then I thought it would be!!
Have to say.......love this rewrite! The original story is the one that got me "stalking" on Amazon and this is 100 times better! Both POV, more details and even hotter and more suspenseful, believe or not!Penny and Marcus, both side to the story now, have to say I really like him now.......took a few in the original book! The added suspense was amazing, should have known she'd be great at it!Very glad this happened, not always a good thing when a story is rewritten but this was a great idea......be watching to see what's coming next!
