Lomographic Sidekick Camera Bag (Black)

Previously owned the canvas sidekick and loved it, until it got destroyed my my cats one day. Then I saw this and noticed it's the same, but made w/ material that's more durable and possibly even cat-proof. This bag definitely 1-upped the canvas bag. It's got more bells and whistles than the product description. The material is extra sturdy. I took it out in the rain with no problems. When detaching the small bag from the larger one, the strap is extentable with the big bag's strap, which was previously not a feature. It's absolutely gorgeous. And because I've never been a "purse" type of girl, this bag will go with pretty much all of my casual and or professional outfits. Perfect, gender neutral, multi-funtional and I'll never need a purse or another shoulder bag again. Perfect for not only the lomo-loving photographer in disguise, but would also be perfect for any type of artist that needs a bag that looks good and is functional.

I purchased this bag direct from Lomo back in '07...it's a vinyl kind of bag, and started cracking badly after a few years. I'm buying the canvas to replace it.My Holga doesn't really fit in the camera portion. You can stuff it in, but the velcro won't keep the bag closed...so I'm thinking if i buy the canvas, then sew new velcro on, & we'll be in business.I looked all over for a messenger style bag like this with a camera portion that might be a better fit for a Holga and a Diana Mini, but no found nothing else.I suggest you go canvas, or splurge for the leather version.

No bag compares to the Sidekick. It comes with so many compartments and little adjustments just to fit your needs. You don't even need to use it for cameras, it's so multi-purpose and no other bag even comes close to looking like it. Leave it to The Lomogprahic Society to actually make a camera bag that looks fashionable. I love mine and at a much cheaper price on Amazon it makes such a great buy.
