Keenan Farms In-Shell Pistachios with Sea Salt Jug, 28 Ounce

Not good. Worst pistachio experience of my life. The nuts were small, shriveled, bitter, yuck. Like others have mentioned, hardly salty at all. Only 4 completely unopened shells, so that isn't bad, but way too many were only partially opened, meaning even less salt on the nut and some very sore thumbnails trying to pry them suckers open. Seriously, it took 3 days for one thumbnail to stop hurting. So, yes, I did eat them all. I'm religious about that. If I pay for something - I eat it, even if it sucks. I grew up poor so there's little choice in the matter. Every once in a blue moon there was a real pistachio hidden in the mix, one that actually tasted smokey and fine, but that was one out of 50 at best. Maybe I got a bad batch but I will never buy Keenan Farms ever again. And the "jug" they came in? Flimsy with a pop-on top, meaning it does not screw on, meaning it's pretty much worthless for storage. I threw it away. One of my worst experiences with products purchased from Amazon. Be wary of all the 5 Star reviews. You have been warned. I've ordered other pistachio brands from Amazon with WONDERFUL results. Not this. This was just plain bad.

Some shells had MOLD on the inside of them :( some looked like they were old. The expiration date is October 2015 but I have a feeling these have been sitting on a shelf somewhere. Not nearly the quality I was expecting. Will not buy again and will not recommend..

They are okay. Not great but okay. Not salty enough is one complaint and the other concerns the freshness which was almost out of date. The packaging is a big plus. I am going to unsubscribe this.

This jug of pistachio nuts was ordered for my adult son - he devours pistachios and really enjoyed this "surprise". He carried the jug around by the plastic handle and it didn't leave his side - either in his room with the computers or at the desk in the living room. I liked the jug - itself - and will keep it to store homemade Christmas cookies, or I'll make up a snack mix and fill this jug - I can see many uses ahead!

These are fresh and flavorful. This makes a great snack or an addition to a salad. These are a good value. I love the fact they came in a nice container to keep the fresh

you can find NO BETTER pistachinos anywhere. I have been ordering these from KEENAN FAARMS for years for myself. also have ordered and sent to my daughter and son-in-law in FORT WORTH TEX for their birthdays. and my grand-daughter in DENVER COLORADO..if you want THE BEST, these are the ones. THANK YOU KEENAN FARMS.

I liked these very much. Very few unopened nuts. The Sea Salt seems a little less salty to me.

I don't know what has happened to this product, i used to see nice, big, and very delicious pistachios, but this one, small, hard to open, and not tasty at all, either they had bad season or they just send me the old products, not happy.
