Hasnt clipped or shut down even after running after literal hours of constant low tone and hard hitting bass. Final update 3/2/20 After a month of using this amp with my american bass sub, it is an absolute beast. I cannot stress enough how good and flawless this amp has performed. After my subwoofers breakin period i have found myself turning the sub down because of how hard and low it hits. Maybe im just gettin old but regardless, this amp sub combo is the perfect hard and low hitting sound that ive been looking for. Will add a video shortly. Set gain to low. I'm using this amp to power a pair of Polk db521s in my Wrangler's soundbar. It is more than enough power. Your db651s are a higher wattage so less of a risk giving it too much juice. I still wouldn't but the gain more than a qtr up. I would of wired all 4 speakers but unfortunately my front pairs are a mismatch wattage wise so those are just running off the Pioneer HU. This amp would have no prob running 4 speakers, as long as your ohms and wattage matches. **Q: Can you daisy chain to a mids/high amp with the rca outputs? use it as a pass through for a different non sub amp** A: It has a Rca In / out so Whatever the next amp is would determine what its used for , Not Exactly just for Mid or Highs .. I put it on 2-10” DVC 4ohm 1000 watt/ 500 RMS speakers, run in parallel so the final ohm load is 1. It hits very hard. Shakes everything inside the cab. It would sound better at low sounds if I wasn’t limited with box size. But thats not a problem with the amp. Easily handles both 10’s. Clean sound, no distortion that I can hear.
