Normally I but the Merchant Gourmet Chef's Purée, but I thought I would give this one a try and I'm certainly happy that I did.Firstly the flavour is great, the purée is made simply with 90% mango and 10% sugar, it’s not too sweet and the taste of the mango is really fresh.A small thing but I really like the pouch they come in, its shape makes it easy to squash into a corner of a full fridge and the nozzle ensures it’s easy to pour without making a mess.The purée has a great shelf life (over a year on the two I received) and once opened is good for 8 days.After I’d used this for the recipes I had planned I still had over ½ a pouch left so I just poured it straight into my ice cream machine as it was and it made a lovely mango sorbet with very little effort on my part at all!The Funkin range of purées is now my go to choice, really happy I gave them a try.
