The Small Dog Carrier (S) Made in USA, Organic Cotton

Update, 9/30/2016 - Well, we have two of these now. I have no reservation in stating that we believe they are the best small animal carrier. Our two very small dogs love them, and they have held up very well to pretty heavy use. I wash them, in the washing machine, on gentle cycle, and using lingerie bags (what can I say, a bit of a laundry geek), and hang them to dry. They still look as they did when new. Big thumbs up!This is a really well designed sling/carrier. It is very easy to put on/take off, like putting on or taking off a tee shirt. The straps lay smoothly, and the one that goes over your shoulder is lightly padded. This fits smoothly enough that it works under a parka or jacket. The pouch itself is made out of an organic black cotton jersey material. This has the right amount of stretch to support our very small dog, she really likes it, and seems to feel secure in it. She fell asleep in it very quickly. It is comfortable to wear, and gender neutral.I like the position of the pouch, it rides fairly high on the torso, and i find it comfortable to perform various tasks while carrying my dog in this. There are two buttons at the top of the pouch, one on each side of the opening. I may sew in a small snap-swivel on a strap for additional security.I will follow up on this review after using this for a while.

This is a WELL-MADE sling! Seriously high quality. And comfy to wear? YES! Highly recommend it, as I have tried SO many slings & carriers. From Outward Hound to Lazy Paws & Wacky Pets. Our Chihuahua did not like any of them & was constantly shifting to get comfy. He always wanted out & wanted me to hold & carry him without a sling...which is hard on the arms after a long hike, or being about the house. I looked at the Heart Pup carrier, but the price is a send-away. Over 200 bucks. Nope! There seems to be a quality issue with them & they take ages to arrive, based on the reviews. So that is a pass. This Kangapooch is the best one out there & works SO well for an incredibly decent price. Our Chi puppy stayed in it for an entire afternoon & did not want out. (That has not happened with any other sling I have tried yet.) It is a stretchy fabric (on the front) they "pooch" in & sleep away. The straps are a solid jean material & comfy beyond comfy. The dog sits higher (which he likes) & its the easiest-wear of a carrier/sling you'll find. The should is also padded & does not dig into your arm. It fits like a shirt (as it needs to be close to your chest) & stays comfy for hours of wear. (And it does not matter for girl or guy...as your chest does not get in the way. Both hubby & I tried it.) HIGHLY recommend it. It is sized for your shirt size, not pet size...& accurate to fit. The pouch can hold a pet up to 12 pounds on all the sizes (S to XL) & our almost 7 pound Chi is comfy & cozy in it. BEST sling out there! Try it, as you won't be disappointed.

Great Product for dogs and cats! I had been looking for a while for a front carrier/sling to carry one of my cats who loves to be held and carried. This was perfect - I was comfortable, my cat was too. It's well made (in the USA), the company went out of their way to make sure I ordered the best size. And it arrived in no time . An A+ for the company and product. Highly recommended.

Amirah and I love our Kangapooch. Both of us feel very secure and comfortable with it. It is very easy to wear and use.I didn’t give it a five because of two issues. First, is concerning the sizing instructions. I don’t think that the chest size is the best way to size it, at least not for women. Based on the recommendations I was supposed to order a medium but I had my doubts.Luckily, I contacted the seller and they were great. Michael Snyder of customer service advised me to do a size test, to order the medium and the large and to return whichever didn’t work.Well, both of them were very large for me and Michael immediately had a small sent, which fit perfectly. It really arrived in no time. Thus, I would suggest a much better way to come up with the right sizing.Second, I wish the Kangapooch would come with something to strap to the dog’s collar for safety. It does have two buttons, but in my opinion that is not sufficient.Overall, our experience has been great.

I’ve had this for 7 years now and has held up very well. My dogs both would rather be carried in it than walk. They absolutely love it! I got a size small because I’m on the petite size but my 240 lb husband can wear this one too. My dogs are 9 and 12 pounds and both fit in it well. I’ve bought other front carriers through the years but they carry too low and bump my knees, this one does not . Material feels like a soft t-shirt but is durable. Worth the price.

This is hands down the most practical and best pet carrier on the market. I do not leave many reviews, only if something in its category is exceptional, which is the case for this product. I have bought MANY pet carriers over the past 20 years, on line, in chain stores and ritzy boutiques, none of the carriers were as practical as the Kangapooch. I have dropped many $$$$ on my quest for THE pet carrier. This is extremely light weight, not bulky at all, and very comfortable for pet and owner.It is extremely important to pay attention to sizing xs,s,m,l, has noting to do with the size of the dog. My dog is 11 pounds, going up to 12-13 lbs would be possible but probably not much bigger. I am 5’8” 125 small chested, I ordered a medium, it was huge on me.The seller’s help was fantastic. I could have used an xs, but decided to go with a small because I can wear it over a jacket or coat. Without a coat on my dog sits a little lower, but nothing disagreeable. One can wear this carrier under a jacket or sweater and it is not noticeable, no bulk. It rolls up compactly and easily and can slip into a handbag, suitcase or roomy coat pocket.This is a fantastic discovery. My dog and I heartily recommend the kangapooch. If you have any question, contact the seller, I did; they responded quickly and were extremely helpful. This is the type of experience one always wishes for.
