I love these notebooks. They work well with any pens and pencils I've tried... I've mostly been using Pilot G2 gel roller pens and Bic mechanical pencils. You can hardly see the pen on the other side of the page (I don't know how markers would do, though). The pages aren't super thick but also aren't thin and cheap feeling like a lot of notebooks in this price range. I like the flexible spiral binding. Definitely recommend.

People used to judge me on how small these notebooks are, but they ended up admiring how much content I was able to fit in. I ended up with lots of extra pages at the end of the semester and I went to class 3 times a week. Despite the small size, there are a lot of pages to make up for it. Paper quality is really good, which is expected of Kokuyo. I also love the dotted lines. They were useful in my math classes since I could draw graphs and models really well with them. The notebooks themselves are also very cute. It's easy to know which notebooks I use for each class by label and color.

totally love these ! only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they were smaller than I expected and the plastic cover seems a bit flimsy but besides that it’s wonderful. the pages are super smooth and easy to write on, the paper doesn’t bleed through and the soft rings are very helpful when writing on the back side or if you are left handed.

you absolutely can't go wrong with these notebooks or this paper. I am a lifetime fan.

My daughter loves these notebooks. They are her go to for journaling and takig notes for school.
