Overall I like it, I believe it’s overpriced but there are not many great solutions for a banister to wall baby/ dog gate. What I don’t like about is you cannot take the fabric off to clean without unscrewing a bracket. What I love about it is it can be installed at an angle and is very versatile. The slats inside seems to make it sturdy enough to keep my 18 month old from pushing it down. It doesn’t push against my banister where a tension gate would an possible lossen it up. It is soft so it doesn’t bang against my walls and trim when opening an closing. It stands on its own nice an nearly off to the side and looks great. It is a very creative gate an one of a kind. I hope it holds up well as it is made in the USA!

This gate works well! Highly recommend. Looks nice and the install was super easy. If your width is in between sizes I recommend to size down for tight fit.

It's a great concept for a gate on the stairs, but it leaves large gaps if it doesnt reach the sides not screwed into the walls. Also if the railing is not aligned like our 1970s house than it leaves a large gap on the stairs.

I really love the look of this and the seller has been great with me needing to return it. I’d like to support more of this company. It was a safe gate and sturdy too. I didn’t find the gate very functional and practical however as there is no good way to step through it unless you unclip all the clips. We’d prefer something that we wouldn’t have to step all the way over—I always end up tripping. We settled on a gate with a door. If there was some way to use this more easily I would be using it in my home for sure.

This is a nice gate and is exactly what I needed. I have an older dog who has an occasional accident if develops diarrhea. I do not recommend a fabric barrier for a young dog who could probably jump over it or chew through it. I think the price is high but that is the only issue I have. it was very easy to install. it is american made also.

I bought this to keep my dogs from going upstairs. It doesn’t work. I wish it did. The design is better looking then a regular gate but, I would still give the design 3 out of 5 stars.Not sure what I will replace it with bc I have holes in my wall now. The dogs just go underneath it and go right up. They think it’s a game lol.So, if you have a kid or dog that has any sort of intelligence, they will get right through it. Definitely concerning for kids and stairs!

Our house was built in the late 1800s. The stairs are our favorite part but the most challenging with having 3 kids. My husband didn't want to drill into our banister so finding a gate to work for us has been challenging. I'm so thankful I found this gate. My kids can now be free to roam our entire downstairs and not be confined to the livingroom and playroom. The buckles are easy enough for my 7yr old to do, which is nice because he goes up and down the stairs a lot!

We have searched high and low and have ordered so many different types of gates for our staircase and none worked to our liking. We came across this gate and all I have to say is WOW!! This is not only the safety and security we needed so our 2 year old doesn't play on the stairs, but it is also very nice to look at. Really pretty thick gray fabric. No ugly metal or mesh to see. While it is pricey, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
