50 3-4" Sourwood Tree Log Disc Wood Slices Branch Button Coaster Rustic Wedding Christmas Ornament

The slices arrived in a very timely manner and were very even. It would have been nice if some of the sawdust had been removed before placed in the box. They did arrive very moist. In the product description, it had mentioned how to dry them so that they do not crack or warp. It would have been nice had those instructions also arrived with the slices because I forgot about it, laid them out to dry, and they did end up warping just a little.We used these to make coasters which worked out great.

the wood is in good shape, however they were supposed to be 3-4" every one is barely 3". I will order from them again just know they are on the smaller side of the measurements. other than that i am very pleased with the quality!

The logs are pretty much as stated. They did smell a little when I got them. I assume because of the way they were packaged, and the heat, some condensation had built up, but once they aired out a bit they were fine. We bought them for a wedding decoration, and the bark on them is, as my sister put it "kind of flowery." Not entirely what we wanted, but it's a slice of a tree, and that's what we asked for.

The wood arrived still wet, after a few days of leaving them out to dry about 1/3 of them cracked/split up the middle. I didn't have enough for my project afterwards which was a big let down. Cute little pieces, but probably not the best route :-/

The positive first...these wooden slices were purchased to make coasters as wedding memorabilia for a bride whose father is dying of cancer and whose wedding is being rushed to enable him to walk her down the aisle. I contacted the seller and asked if they could expedite the shipment in light of this fact...which they did! In fact, the slices amazingly shipped the same day of my request and arrived the next day, for which I am greatly appreciative.The negative...the slices arrived dirty and covered with sawdust, which looking back at other reviews, may just be the norm. However, this only slightly slowed down the production time (for the engraver) .The final product turned out just beautifully and I could not have been more pleased.I do not know yet whether they will split, as another reviewer wrote. Hopefully they will not, but if they do, I will make a notation to that effect on my review at a later date.

The product was the size and look that I wanted at a reasonable price, but they were so wet when they arrived. The box was just about to fall apart because of how wet they were. Good thing i have time to dry them out before I need them, or else I would really be in a mess.

Yeah sure they were dirty and covered in sawdust, but all I did was grab an old toothbrush and dusted them off. If there were some mud on it, just simply wet the brush and brush it off or sand them off. A little elbow grease hadn't hurt anybody.Then I stacked them up and had something heavy on them and left them like that for about a week. Some were still little wet. So I just rearranged the stacks. A few did warped and I just simply flipped them over and set something heavy on them and they will flatten up.Overall I'm happy with my purchase because it is cheap for that lot. My daddy always said, if you buy something cheap, you get what you paid for. In this case, it is a good quality but requires some elbow greasing.In the photos here showed that it was dirty before then after I brushed them/sanded them, they looked good.

Quick shipping, product as promised, a note would help to take them out of packagae to dry, I had left them a while in there and unfortunately mold grew between the disks so I could not use some of it. Other than that they were as promised. Bark was nice and did not fall off.
