Dish Network 500 Satellite Mobile Rv Tripod Kit

The dish arrived within 4 days. Dishnet had sent me a receiver for free. I ordered the dish and installed everything myself with the assistance of Dishnet. The first time I called, the tech support wasn't all that helpful and the instructions were confusing. But once I got the receiver installed and the skew and elevation set, I called back and got a different tech support guy. He was awesome. The dish works fine and I got it sooner than expected. Thanks.

When I received this mobile satellite dish I couldn't assemble it because ALL of the instructions and illustrations did NOT match the LMBF that came with the kit. I tried to contact Satellite Oasis using the telephone number on the shipping box. When I called it a message said that technical support was only available on line. I e-mailed the owner in an effort to get clarification on which terminal to attach the cable to on the LMBF. After a few days I didn't hear back from the owner so I gave up on getting any support. I had to pay a professional satellite installer to show me which terminal to attach the cable to. I complained to the owner about no customer support and bad assembly instructions. In his response to me, he assaulted my intelligence, told me I should have "Googled" him to get a phone number they would answer and went on to insult my name. Very unprofessional response!In short, the dish works now that I know which of the three terminals to attach the cable to. The owner was unnecessarily rude and insulting to a paying customer. I will never buy from Satellite Oasis again!

I use the tripod kit with a dish 311 reciever. We move the reciever from our home to our RV parked a little over 100' from our house.First one end of the jumper cable came off so I had to cut the cable and install a new connector. Then the meter sometimes does not work untill I peck it on the side with a wrench. It seems to have a loose connection inside. The instructions are not clear about the connections. There are 3 connections marked 1,2 and LNB. It isn't clear where to connect the single cable. The dish on our house is identical but when we move the reciever to the RV we cannot get Sat 110.We overcame these problems and enjoy although it was very flustrating to get going the first time.

I found the instructions easy to follow and set up was easy. I purchased a 1-1/2" round bubble level that I place on the top of the mast when I set it up to make sure it is as level as possible and it really helps. At first I was only able to get the 119 satellite but found that I was getting a false signal because I wasn't following the instructions close enough and swinging a wide enough arc after first getting a response from the signal finder. I now have no problem getting both 110 & 119 satellites.

It arrived with all of the parts but when we tried to hook it up we couldn't get the satellite meter to work. It would go up to 70 then back to 0 then back up, weather you moved anything or not. We hooked up the dish to the box and tv and could get nothing to work.

Received our Dish Network 500 Satellite RV Tripod kit faster than we expected. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. It was very well constructed and much nicer than we had expected. Used it that weekend to go camping and set-up was fast and worked great.

I was sent the incorrect dish that was not compatible with the Dish receiver,it was a Direct dish. I contacted the supplier and as soon as I sent him the UPS tracking number they sent me the correct kit.The kit has worked well so far. Need to be sure and read the book that is provided with the kit so you will hook the lnb up correctly. The book also contains all the zip codes and angle settings for the system, overall satisfied!
