6 out of 50 lived through the first night.
I am not new to ordering schools of fish. When I received the box 6 where dead on arrival (expected).I adjusted ph in my tank and matched temperature and air. Did a light feeding to give them a figting chance but I was not hopeful. About half where swimming on their sides. Several had injuries. Pea sized areas of scales missing. This morning after less then 24 hours in my possession all but 6 are dead.

Fish seem happy
This will be an odd review. We had 20 or so large 4-5" goldfish in our small pond. The number and size of fish had been growing over the past few years. We had a metal pink flamingo that was standing close to the pond over the past 3-4 years. We removed it to paint it, and within a week a heron arrived and eat all of the fish! These 10 (but we received 13) fish were to see if with the newly painted flamingo would survive. So far so good, but even if they get eaten it is not the sellers fault!!My advice have a FAKE bird near your pond!

Happy, healthy, playful fish...How'd a Thunk?
I ordered these goldfish for my 1st Persian New Year table (Haft-Seen). Received 15 happy, healthy fish, sealed in a bag within a bag. To be honest, I was initially quite creeped out to receive a swooshing box of live critters, wondering what I would find when I opened the box. I followed the instructions by placing the un-opened fish bobble inside my own fish bowl to slowly acclimate them to the water temp. It was not until I tried to physically transfer them, a couple hours later, that one of my little guys got caught between the folds of the inner plastic bag. I did end up losing the little fella that evening, but the rest of them made it through my ruffian ways. Since then, I have lost 5 more; but ALL because of my own inability to change their water without totally freaking them out. In fact, I no longer do a full bowl water switch (only partial) since they do much better if I don't chase them around with a fish net or remove them before cleaning the tank. I've also purchased the Boxtech Aquarium Gravel Cleaner which allows me to clean the bowl around them. They absolutely love the shower feature which oxygenates the surface water while removing all the gook from the bottom. I've also stopped feeding them 2-hours before or after each water change; as advised by Google. I would absolutely recommend Toledo and their goldfish.

Fantastic! Overnight delivery, all alive and well.
Overnight shipping. Bought a "ten pack".....pretty sure there are 12 or 13. And obviously handpicked. Most are plain red.....but I got a black one! Which I was really hoping for. And a pure white one and a couple spotted ones. I know it says "feeder" fish but these are beautiful fish obviously treated very well. They are for my small container pond so I'm very happy.EDIT...7/24/20. Added photo taken today. Other than the one that jumped out of the pond...the other 14 are alive and well and already eating out of my hand. I realize things can go wrong during shipping especially these days....but I don't see how you can go wrong with this company.

Alive on arrival, thriving now!
All fish arrived quickly, all alive. They were double bagged, so the bag didn't lose it's air/oxygen, and for more padding, that was nice. The fish all look super healthy, and are thriving after a week plus here in their aquarium. I was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish, especially coming from across the country. If I ever need more goldfish, this is where i'll look first. I have been asked to leave a review, but I am being completely honest in my review. If these fish had been ill, or dead, or if there were other problems, i'd speak up. Really happy with my purchase!

Lost all of them in day 2. Can't find the instruction in the package.
First, they arrived two days before the schedule, which broke my whole plan. However, they arrived live and energetic, nice package. However, I didn't find any feed/acclimate instruction in the package, which is mentioned in the product description. I put the in a big bowl because the tank was not arrived yet. During the first night, a handful were dead. And after I installed the aquarium and put them in, all died in hours. Maybe the temperature, maybe I fed them too much, maybe they were supposed to die soon. Sigh...Not sure I should give another try or not.

Beautiful Goldfish
I purchased 10 Comet Goldfish about three weeks ago. I was hesitant to shipping live goldfish however I was very pleased. The fish arrived two days after I ordered them and when I opened the package they were all swimming in about two gallons of water. When I put them in my aquarium a few at a time I was surprised when I counted 14. They are all very healthy and eating well. They are a real pleasure to watch. I have had an aquarium for about 40 years and many different kinds of fish. These fish have made me very happy! Sincerely, Roberta

Goldfish. 100/500 dead on arrival. 4 stars for 400 living fish.
4 stars because MOST survied the shipping. The fish that are alive are wonderful. However, we did loose around 100 or so of the 500 fish we ordered, due to the heat and lack of oxygen. I really wish the fish had been packed with enough ice packs to keep them cold enough to not use up all the oxygen and to have more of them alive when they arrived. Delivery was very fast, overnight next-day air. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I immediately knew the fish were in trouble. The ice packs were warm and there were so many dead. So, I put the bag to float in the pond and searched my home for an aerator unit. Went back out and opened the bag enough to put the aerator in the bottom. So many dead fish. The water in the bag was HOT, not warm, not cool, and definitely not cold. Realizing I had to cool them off or loose them all, I slowly added cool pond water every 5-7 mins. Goldfish die if their water is too warm, btw. I transferred the fish, after they acclimated and seemed a bit less lethargic, to a temporary holding cage in order to monitor their progress, and watch for anymore that die, or show signs of stress. We did loose a few more that are NOT pictured. Overall, I am happy with the fish. I just wish they had been packed for their HOT destination of New Mexico, from Missouri, with more icepacks to keep them cool and alive. So, if/when I need to order goldfish again, I will contact the company directly and ask for extra ice packs. ... I should probably also contact them and ask about the 100+ that died as a result of not enough icepacks, soon. Maybe you can get a better count from the pictures...?
