Origin 8 gears are great.
The gears are ramped and pinned for great shifting. They fit right and installation was a breeze. They also look cool. On the test ride they shifted like they should and the chain was smooth. I put on the middle and large ring on a 95 Trek 7900.Update: after several longer rides, I love these gears. They are butter smooth and the shifting is spot on.

Extremely durable, and highly reliable
I commute 25 to 40 miles per day, while towing an 80lb tool trailer these days. After reviewing my records, these rings are providing around 5,000 miles of service, under full load shifting conditions. I replace the rings due to thinning, or undercutting of the teeth, but actually, the shifting ramps become ground down first. Derailleur adjustment is important. They also deal well with cross-chaining, with no loosening or breakage.

Measure the distance from 2 adjacent mounting holes on the old chainring before ordering a new one.
I bought 2 Chainings. The smaller one fitted perfectly. It was 130 mm from one mounting hole to another. It was light and seems Sturdy. When I bought them I didn't know what 110 & 130mm meant. In any event they should have been the same size in order to fit on the same crank. It would be good If you had something in that section explaining what the numbers mean. I will need to return the larger chainring

It does what I bought it for.
It is hard to find a 53 tooth ring with 110mm bolt spacing, so one can't be too fussy. However, this ting is considerably thinner than the FSA ring it replaced, and required spacers in order for it not to have chain rub when the chain is on the small ring and some of the smaller cogs on the freehub. I am sure it will be flex, but I am just using it on the trainer over the winter. When I get back out on the road, I'll go back to the FSA 50 tooth ring - if I get going so fast that I can't spin a 50x11, then I am very likely to be on a downhill where I could coast just about as fast. I can't push that high a gear on the flats! So, the bottom line is it does what I bought it for.

Better than oem performance, one minor flaw.
94mm/32t/8-10sp/5bMuch better than I expected. This machine tooled model is the only replacement in could find for my old 90s coda set. This model uses rivets in place of a more graduated ramp. I feel it actually works better than the stamped oem part. Unfortunately one of the rivet pickups falls a bit too close to 1/5 bolts causing a slight bend when adjacent bolt is torqued. --this may not be an issues on all sets. But, I've noticed no problems in ~500 miles with plenty of hills.

Good ring, but missing one thing.
This is a good quality chainring and one of the few options out there for a 46T. The web is thicker than most OEM or aftermarket rings I've seen, but still works with 9s chains. It has integrated ramps and pins for better shifting. The only thing it is missing is the chain drop pin that prevents the chain from dropping between the crank arm and spider.UPDATE: I recently pulled the ring when I was doing some general maintenance. After I cleaned the ring I saw the teeth were showing some wear; more than I would expect after less than 6 mos. of commuting. I typically commute twice a week, flat course, about 37 miles total. Maybe one additional ride a month with hills. In addition to the wear, some teeth had noticeable burrs...again, mostly commuting and a few hills per month...not much shifting involved. I'll keep riding it until the shifting degrades, but then I'll look for other options.

Tooth height differences that may not be a problem
Every tenth or so tooth was noticeably shorter than the rest. At one point two teeth in a row were noticeably shorter. The bike I bought this for (rip current s) has both inside and outside bash guards, so I don't think it is going to start throwing any chains. This ring has worked fine so far. If I have any problems, I will come back and let you know.
