The Taxidermists Woodshop European Mount Skull Hanger

There isn't much more to say than what I put in the headline, this will mount any deer, boar, antelope... any medium to small sized stripped skull mount. Paint is slightly mottled giving a nice plain old bronze look that hides behind the mount but fits great in the spinal cord hole. The metal is heavy and will not bend under any load. Does not fit any antler that sweeps back behind the head because its close to the wall, like an elk or axis deer. Why not have a handful of these around they are great when you need them, especially for he price.

I had a pile of Euro mounts (whitetail and boar) sitting around for several years because I didn't want to mount them on the wooden plaques (due to space on the wall and cost of the plaques). I was really happy to find these mounts at a much lower price point. Granted, if you purchase one at a time the shipping cost is quite high, but if you purchase several the shipping cost stays the same and is very reasonable. I was really impressed with the thickness of the steel on these. Looking at the stock picture, they look lightweight and flimsy, but I can assure you they aren't. I have zero concerns about the skulls falling from the walls with these.I uploaded a couple of pics displaying both these mounts and the wooden plaques for a reference

When I first opened the box, i thought it was way too small. I was wrong. I mounted on the wall and the cool part is you can't even see the hanger, just the Deer !! Will buy again !!

I wish I would have bought this sooner. Super easy and looks great! So happy with this product and I will order more for future use as well. My big dorky blacktail skull looks great on the wall with this.

This is a great hangar for European mounts. I’ve had a previous mount that hung the head in a downward position, and prefer the more upright positioning this hangar provides. Like everything in life, it’s personal preference, so feel free to disagree, but I’ve bought 3 of these now and will definitely buy more.

Really simple but strong bracket, I was looking for something that would disappear (after a bit of spray paint) behind a whitetail euro mount, and this does it perfectly. Also got one for a buddy who wanted to mount a big mule deer euro mount, and this bracket holds it no problem.

Make sure you nail this into a stud just in case you didn't know that... it works great but has some weight too it and needs a proper nail to hold it flat against wall... I will be buying more for furture skull mounting...

super easy to install and a great price. if you have more than one skull to hang just note that this is a sharper angle which will make the head point out more. Not a bad thing at all- just noting it if you want all of your mounts to hang the same.
