Product Description It's more Raw, baby, and now you can own some of the greatest moments from the hottest show on cable television! You watch it, you love it and can't get enough of it. Volume 2 picks up where Volume 1 left off! Just get it! 60 minutes. .com As most WWF fans already know, Raw is the Federation's weekly two-hour show on TNN. Unlike UPN's Smackdown, Raw is a bit more hard-edged, taking advantage of its cable time slot. Like Smackdown, however, Raw is the bridge between the WWF's pay-per-view events; it's where the writers and wrestlers construct their soap operas. This two-hour highlight compilation tape chronicles what many consider to be the WWF's most controversial year, late '98 through late '99. During this time, the Ministry of Darkness, a dark cult lead by the then-heel Undertaker would merge with Vince McMahon's Corporate team. They concocted schemes like kidnapping and torturing McMahon's own daughter, Stephanie. This was also the height of the McMahon/Stone Cold Steve Austin feud. For the first time in history, the man who owned the company also donned the trunks and got bloodied, while country hick Stone Cold became CEO. In other events, the Rock--then the evil Corporate Champion rather than the People's Champion--waged terrific battles with faces Austin and the leather-masked Mankind; the 500-pound Big Show and high-flyer Chris Jericho made impressive debuts; and a young Triple H went from sideline figure to one of the biggest, nastiest superstars the Federation has ever produced. If you're new to pro wrestling, this is a perfectly enjoyable history lesson. If you're an old school fan, it provides a great walk down a warped and twisted memory lane. --Dave McCoy

Best of RAW volume 2....Rock and Sock...Jericho debuts!
This retrospect does a good job of giving great highlights and parts of matches that took place between survivor series 98 and armageddon 99. My favorite parts included the corporate rumble, foley winning the wwf title for the first time, jericho's classic debut in chicago, and of course my personal all time favorite raw moment...AUSTIN DRIVES BEER TRUCK TO RING. I highly recommend this show for any wrestling fan. This particular volume properly captures all the moments which happened in the greatest era in professional wrestling: The attitude era. if you dont own this, shame on you!

LEAVES NO STONE UNTURNED.........ALMOST
Well, I just purchased 'Best Of Raw Volume 2' last week and I must say, the producers did an exceptional job of covering mostly every aspect & storyline within the 1998-99 season. The ongoing feud between 'The Corporation' and 'The Ministry is contained here, as well Chris Jericho's debut, kidnapping of Stephanie McMahon, The Rock's slow rise to stardom as well as his surprise birthday bash thrown by Mankind etc. However, a couple of elements were left out which I feel I must touch base on. First and foremost. The show's biggest ratings that season were provided by the hype surrounding Stephanie McMahon and Test's wedding. However, that wedding never did take place but nonetheless it did earn RAW IS WAR incredible ratings. The producers failed to show this storyline on this tape. Secondly, the tag-team of X-Pac and Kane was a big thing which failed to make the final cut. Especially considering the fact that Kane said his first words ever. But aside from these two minor details, the tape is absolutely excellent and if you are looking to flashback to a few years ago, you can't go wrong with this tape.

WWF Best of RAW volume 2
I have been a huge fan of the WWF for years. Since the early 90's Monday Night RAW has been a mainstay on cable television. It's not until recently that the WWF has started to make Best of RAW tapes. Putting the company's biggest years on some great videos. Best of RAW volume 1 was great. I am a big fan of the production value that the WWF uses when presenting their product. Part 2 picks up right where 1 left off. You will see slickly edited segments between The Rock and Steve Austin, you will relive the the debut of Y2J Chris Jericho. Mankind winning his first WWF title and Triple H's dramitic rise to become the top heel in the industry. This tape is 2 hours of some of the greatest moments in the history of RAW. If you are a fan of the Superstars on Monday Night you will want to own this awesome video.

Better then Volume one, but still doesn't show THE BEST
I just purchased this video today at suncoast and it has its ups and downs. The main reason i got this is because there is stuff on this tape that you won't find anywhere else, even on wwf videos. The highlights are clearly "Mankind Vs The Rock" in Dec 98 in which mankind wins his first ever wwf title(with a little help from stone cold) you can't find this match anywhere and the crowd goes absolutely nuts when austins music hits. Other highlights include HHH's first wwf title win, hilarious vootage of Vince being trained by shane, and the beginning of the mcmahon helmsley era. the rest of the video tends to show the worst of raw, which includes a date with mark henry and china. However this video is a good value for under 15 bucks. its about 2 hours and at least 45 minutes of it is really good. If you want to see hunter and mick win their first ever wwf titles then get this video, it is well worth it.

The BEST!!!
This video is absolutely awesome! It has everthing I love about past wwf angles. My favorite faction ever was the corporation and it has a ton of stuff about them in this video! It also has stuff on mankind, austin, the game and more! I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who likes wwf.
