**Q: is this one apple box or several? I can't tell. Thanks!**
A: It's one apple box.

**Q: does this box have any engraving or markings on sides that require filling before painting?**
A: Advantage Gripware makes great apple boxes! However each box does have a burned brand logo on the side with the handles (see pic above). The nails holding the box together are counter sunk and though the holes are small, if you feel the need you could fill wood putty. I have been in the film business for over ten years now and if you want your box to last you should at the very least stain or paint it to keep moisture out. Also makes them easier to clean if needed and hide damage from being used.

**Q: is this full box the one with removable front ? like from the set image?**
A: Nothing is removable -- it is really just a posing box so handles are to make it easier to carry. But it's perfect as a posing box!

**Q: Is it strong enough for a 300# man to sit on?**
A: Yes!! I weigh a little more than 300 lbs and I feel very secure standing on it.

I use these to stand on - I weigh 105 lbs so I don't know how they will hold up for other people. I use them to seat models as well. So far so good. I don't have any experience with other apple boxes to compare the quality. For me these are working out nicely.
