Apply a primer or a glitter primer or glitter binder first; then pat on the pigment so that it is applied in a patting manner. Then you pack it on how you want and it will be fine. You may not need to pack it on as much because it is meant as a highlighting light yellow color. This can be brushed over the lid and in the crease as well as a highlighter. You can also mix it with clear nail polish to get a tinted color to paint your nails. You can also add it to blushes as a strobing highlighter. You can also add it to lotion to tint the color a little before applying to your skin. Try that and see how it works. If you don't have a primer or binder; try a concealer or foundation over your eyelid first. Also you can wet your brush a little and apply it wet. Possibilities are pretty much endless. Sometimes you have to play with it a little before you find what works best for you. Apply dry to use as a lid, crease, or a brow highlight.
