Had a previous rear view smart mirror that failed, did not need all the bells and whistles just dash cam reversing.The wiring for this could be neater with single wire through bracket to above headlining.At present 2 separate wires coming down.As per other customers when you put the windscreen mount adapter on you get bad vibration on mirror which is easily fixed by putting small rubber patch in-between bracket and back of mirror but you should not need to do this.The rear reversing camera is good quality but would be nice to be able to adjust the reversing lines in width etc.The movement on the front recording lens needs more up and down adjustment as for my wife when mirror set correctly the camera is pointing a bit too high.To round up it is not bad product but could be a lot better and some anti polarising on front lens is required.

Camera is not fit for purpose. All text is upside down making it difficult to navigate. The only way to use it as a rearview mirror is to turn it off, which stops it recording. You can swipe left to go from front camera - rear camera - split screen, this action should give you mirror mode but it does not. Rear view camera came with mounting bracket on upside down. Turned the right way up it only catches 3m behind the vehicle. Customer service is non existent. You'll note that all the 5* reviews are very similar and in broken English, providing no customer names, simply "verified purchaser". Don't risk it.

Really good quality, I did replace my existing mirror with dash cam one, it fits perfectly. There is option to install it over your existing mirror, but I was looking for one to replace it as I don't like double mirror stacking. That's cheapest option as usual price for "smart mirror" is +£200. I have installed rear cam inside of the car on back shelf, it provides good visibility. If you replacing your rear view mirror, I suggest to add some layer of foam or rubber between mirror bracket and windscreen as it my vibrate while driving, especially with higher speed +70mph. Can't comment on parking mode or motion detection as didn't test it yet. Customer service is helpful and know what they talkng about, response is quick. Note, if you want to turn it around for RHD, then power cabel, rear camera cable plug underneath of camera and power button is ob top. I didn't like it, so I turned it around, but then my menu was upside down. I contacted customer service and I got clear and easy instruction, how to update software. Buy micro sd card, I have 16gb, should be enough. I had it spare, but apparently 32gb is max. My car honda civic mk8 hatchback. Would buy again.

Isn't great. The mount that came with it was way too big for my car and even if it fit the mount is one solid piece and you cannot move it. Attaching it to the rearview mirror currently in my car would mean placing it in an awkward angle that so you choose between having the dashcam viewing the road in front of you or actually using it as a rear view mirror. Even having the dash cam on makes it pretty useless as a mirror

This thing seemed a good idea, was dirt cheap, but came with missing components, so that was false economy.It's a faf to try and fit (xtype) it doesn't get a good view of road, and if you mange that, then it no longer functions adequate as a rear view mirror, as other reviews state its not for right hand drive cars and the seller is zero help, even though the instructions state to get Intouch for updated firmware. Cannot comment on rear view as that was missing, as was the hard wire kit. Was 13 quid, but sent back at that price it's awful not fit for purpose at all.

Although the unit is clearly designed for LHD cars rather than RHD ones in the UK, I still mounted it as designed, so that the cables come out of the top.I found that the camera has a very wide angled vision, so it works well anyway, so I didn't see the need to mount it upside down as some others have mentioned.It's wide enough to see the other side of of a single carriageway in the recordings, which I would say is good enough.Funtionally, it works very well, and once installed, a totally automated solution, install and forget, and let it do its job.I mounted mine directly onto the interior mirror stalk, not with the rubber straps, and it's very stable.I gave it 4 stars as the instructions aren't in great english and I would have liked it to support a bigger memory card (32GB is the max).

ok so this un like some is a real review i sent mine bk and here why i own a zafira and my mirror is just to big to hold this as stated it does with the ability to replace your old mirror thus remove ur own mirror from its holder leaving holder still on the window but this product cant then hold on the factory connector so it falls of so may be ok for other car but def not a Zafira
