Got this for my 8 year old son. He likes dinosaur stuff. Looking for a very different thing to get for someone, this is a great idea. Good for show and tell. It's made of plastic resin and looks and feels identical to a real fossil. A real one this size and completeness may sell for 1000 dollars. It is resin so will break like glass if dropped. So handle with care. It comes with a display stand. 6 in tall tooth. Makes you wonder about these sharks when they lived.

Perfect for what it is
Why my husband wanted a megladon tooth, I have no idea but he did. I wasn't sure if he would be happy with a "reproduction" but there was no way we could afford an actual real one of any decent size so I went ahead and got this for him. He loves it. My boys love it too. It is what it ia...a fake tooth from a megalodon that looks just like the picture.
