The Salzburg Jewelry Box

I was initially nervous about purchasing this jewelry box after reading some of the reviews about how the finish was bad and the drawers were busted. I caught it for a good price so I pulled the trigger. I'm not sure if I just got lucky but my jewelry box came today in perfect condition. In fact, after careful inspection I can't even find a single thing wrong with it, not even a slight scratch. The only thing I've noticed is that the 3rd drawer doesn't line up perfectly, but it's not that much off so it's not that bad.Be sure you understand the measurements on this jewelry box (they are a little off in the description, mine measures: 9.5" tall, 10.5" wide at the bases, 9.5" wide in the middle, and 5" deep at the bases, 4.25" deep in the middle). It's not a huge jewelry box by any means, but it's exactly what I was looking for to go with the rest of my cherry wood in the bedroom. In fact, it matches the cherry wood color in my bedroom perfectly (see pic), which was a plus. If you need something to store a small amount of jewelry, and even get a little more in there then you think you can, then this is the box for you. If you have a ton of jewelry, you'll want something bigger.

This little box was exactly what I was looking for. I don't have much jewelry or many accessories, so I just wanted something to clear off my vanity, and this box works perfectly for that! Like other reviews say, the box is not tall enough to properly display necklaces, but I've been using them for bracelets, which works just fine. This would be a great jewelry box for you if you don't have many pieces in your collection but are looking to clean up some clutter.(Also, the box's cherry tones match exactly with my apartment's red wood finish, so that was a double win!)

It is a very nice piece! Unfortunately it was smaller than I'd hoped, so having to return it.

The box was what I expected, features described was exactly what I received. Nice size, nice presentation, great for the little jewelry my daughter has. I graded four stars because the box was dusty when it arrived, so we just cleaned it. But over all really nice box.I would recommend it.

I love my little elegant cherry jewelry box. It replaced an old one that was 40 some years old. This one looks just lovely on top of my cherry dresser.

Good quality and price

This jewelry box was completely intact and the color I expected, doors and drawers work just fine. Interior felt was good/new. However, the exterior on the box looked used or not well crafted. Areas where the stain looks worn/thin and spots of what looks/feels like dried glue. I should have purchased the slightly more expensive box, maybe it would have looked better. This was a mother's day gift so I was a little embarrassed when she opened the packaging.

Wasn't as deep as I was hoping. Another 1" would have been nice. But a nice box none the less.

It came in a generic looking box, obviously re-taped. This was a Christmas present for my wife, so you can imagine my anger and disappointment when she opened it Christmas morning and there we scratches all over it. This was clearly a used product, which was not at all what I paid for. Very disappointed...
