Zip Zap Things Go Splat
I ordered this because over the past year or two, I've noticed red moles start popping up everywhere on my skin. Face, chest, legs, torso. As a 20 something year old, this is startling and really hurts my self esteem. While I know these things were to be of no concern (thank god for google), they were driving me crazy. I already have low self esteem, and these suckers weren't helping. Going to a dermatologist is something I can't afford and this was basically my only hope for taking care of them. While it took a few weeks to get here, the price was definitely something it had going for it. It came just as pictured, the charging cable is an adorable 6 inches long, so honestly, I just used an extra micro USB cable I had. After plugging it up and letting it charge for a little bit, I read the instructions multiple times, and it's not the BEST in the world at explaining how to use it. So I will break it down.INSTRUCTIONS:1. Take the screw attachment with the large opening and attach it to the pen. Then, choose which tip you will use. You can use the needles for extremely precise work, or use the large pointed tip. If using a needle, you'll want to carefully take one out and thread it through the second screw attachment (it has a very small hole) and screw it on.1a. I would take some alcohol and swipe it over the area you'll be working on (as well as the large tip if you're using that) as well as washing your hands. This will kill any germs.1b. Check your battery level first by turning on the device and double tap the power button. 3 is 100%, 2 is 75%, and 1 is 25%.2. Tap the power button and choose your setting. 1 is low, 2 is medium, 3 is high. I recommend starting at 1 because this is a device that could hurt you and you should be very careful when handling things like this. Before pressing the tip onto the area, hold down the "OUT" button at the bottom and then press it very lightly onto the skin. You'll see an electric current when the tip contacts your skin.2a. You want to go slowly and gently. It will almost always take more than one treatment to acquire the results you seek.2b. If you find it too painful, try changing to either a lower setting (when possible) or a thinner tip. You can also use a numbing cream a few minutes before you start the process to help make it more comfortable. If you don't have any, you can use something like Orajel on the skin and wait until its numbed up enough.3. When using the large tip, you should top every once and a while to wipe off the tip. There might be black build up at the end and you don't want it getting seared into the wound you're making. Use either a clean cloth or alcohol swab.4. Once you've gone over the areas you needed, wipe them down gently with alcohol and apply antibiotic cream. It'll help with the pain, promote healing, and keep infection away.5. Wipe down the tip that you used with alcohol and find a safe place to store your pen.As a note, I'm writing this after my first treatment, so I will update as time passes.Another note: I don't recommend doing treatments one day after another, let you body heal for a few days to a week before doing it again so you can see the results clearly from your first treatment.

Love this device!
I am a physician and have been using disposable Bovie type cautery tools (that cost more and that you cannot recycle) to cauterize small hemangiomas (bright red spots) on the skin for years. These are inherited and annoying... This tool is very nice for the price. It took a long time to get here, but it seems very well made. It does not get "red hot" like the bovie but it "electrocutes" the surface cells. So far so good. I agree that there are really no good instructions, but it does not take a genius to figure it out. These spots take several treatments to kill with this device and require healing time in between, and yes, you will smell your skin burning because that is what it does! SO you may also get a little swelling and redness and maybe a scab... but do not pick at it!!! Because this can stimulate the red spots to return or get bigger. To get rid of a particularly stubborn hemangioma that was 1/4 inch across and flat with a bovie cautery it took about a month of treatments (about once a week) and then I had to repeat in smaller areas about 2 months later... so BE PATIENT. I will update this review if I have more problems with this device than the bovie. It does hurt a little bit, but it IS burning you... so you have to expect that. Generally I use the big tip and not the needles. They are too small for my purpose. I do not recommend removing MOLES with this! They could be melanoma and should be looked at by a physician before you try it. Stay away from the eyes or eyelids.

The English directions are incomprehensible.
I could not get this product to work. The directions in English are incomprehensible. Perhaps if the directions were understandable it could be figured out, but I can't get the needle to heat up and do what it should do. The company should get an English expert to write their directions. The cost was modest, but if it doesn't work -- so what?!

Outstanding device 💯
This device is amazing!!! I can't believe how cheap it costs. It has attachments too. I removed a black flat mole that I've had since I was a child but it bevame bigger as I aged and this electric laser pen took it right off! I used this device for skin tags and dark spots too. Its a miracle pen

Doesn't work well on skin tags for me, OK for moles, age spots, etc
Well, first off, not sure my was assembled correctly. If it was, then I just modified it!!!! It didn't seem to work consistently. I noticed that the tip was loose where the needles screw in, and, there appeared to be a blue light that flickered as you moved the tip. So, I decided to take it apart to see what was going on. The whole part the tip screws into was just loose and what appeared was happening was random connection as you moved the tip. So, I just did a simple solder job to attach the tip to the board. After that, perfect function. I bought this for skin tag removal primarily. I'm not impressed with that function. It may work for others, for me, too cumbersome/slow. However, I used it on a couple of moles/freckles and one age spot, and, it seems to have worked fine (just did it today, so, we'll see if they stay gone). Oh, while I bought a numbing cream, I didn' use it. It's just a little stinging sensation when you're using it.

It worked & it was easy to use so I'm happy with my purchase the tip had a little play in it but it did effect the performance of the pen at all, I removed a skin tag with it very quick first time so I'm very happy and would recommend this item
