So far, so good. First, I gave a bit of the chicken flavored toothpaste to our 10mo old lab/pointer. Then I put the toothpaste into it...it uses a LOT of toothpaste to get it down into the lower part). She took it right away with great interest. At first she just licked it, but after I held it down on the floor, pointed up, a few times, she started chewing with her back molars, which are the ones I want her to keep clean.She destroys most toys with gusto, and she LOVES this one.If the “brush” does bite the dust and she destroys it, I’ll write another review.

Although it may look a little funny, the design is perfect! My pup figured out how to hold onto it immediately and he chews it until the toothpaste is gone! He doesn’t like his teeth being brushed or anything forced into his mouth for that matter, so I love that this product lets him do his own thing. Also love that it makes him chew on it and get his back teeth, because he has a tendency to just lick the toothpaste off of everything else. I haven’t been using it long, so I haven’t had a long enough time to see the actual cleaning effects yet. I am hopeful, as this is the longest time my dog has spent with a tooth cleaning product or toy. My only negative is that it’s a bit difficult to clean.

This product lasted a only few minutes with my large lab. He chewed through it almost immediately, with small pieces of rubber coming off which he could easily choke on. Defeats the purpose of the toy which is to brush the dog's teeth when it falls apart so easily. Be sure to supervise pets while they chew this toy. The smell was a horrible rubber smell that did not go away after 2 hand washes and 1 dishwasher cycle.

I have been trying to brush my puppy's teeth but it is impossible. She loves this. I have a hard time taking it away. I don't put toothpaste in the end but just apply it along each brush line. It ends up in the same place and I haven't wasted it. My older dog doesn't like it but I can brush her teeth.

don't waste your money. I tried to return and they accepted the return, but expected me to pay the shipping, because of the weight, I would have spent almost $10 to return the item, so I did not return it. I requested a prepaid postage and never heard back.

My lab doesn't really understand that she is supposed to chew this. Instead she throws it around and gets toothpaste everywhere, or she just licks it clean, or she chews the handles and not the bristle part.

Seems pretty sturdy but my dog chewed through the side pieces that they grip onto to hold the toy in their mouth. Other than that it works well.

So this product didn’t work the way I thought. It doesn’t stick to our tile floor and it gets the toothpaste on our floor.
