Rare Creme & Green Creeping Fig Plant - Ficus

It has been a few months since I have received this plant. It is a very small vine plant. It has not grown any and still has dry, brittle leaves. I gave it a few stars because it is still living but not really what I was expecting.

I have already killed one of these, so this plant is round two. Hoping to keep going as I carefully navigate my way for a longer life-span in my home.

i, and several other email buddies have had very poor experiences with Hirt's Gardens. Their plants just do not seem to hold up well. Also, this variegated "creme & green" ficus pumila (creeping fig) can be purchased at most online suppliers of miniature and small houseplants as well as many local nurseries with houseplant sections or at terrarium shops (although the plant does better in brighter light than terrariums usually are designed for). It's a great little plant, but you have to water it. You can't neglect it fir a week and have it do well - especially in the small containers they come in. Repot as soon as possible in a well-draining potting mix, give it light but not direct sunlight and enjoy. Just buy it someplace else, like Violet Barn if you're buying online.

These pretty plants came very well packaged, with a Thank You note, which is unusual. They remind me of Ireland and I am really glad I bought them.
